Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Framework Computer has been reverted.
Your edit here to Framework Computer was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.reddit.com/r/framework/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Hi @Celestina007:! What's the reason for the deletion? The page was already linked by this page, List_of_laptop_brands_and_manufacturers - Other brands. I don't belong to this company, Star Labs. And the page name "Star Labs (company)" makes sense to me. Because there is already this kind of page, Purism (company). Junaruga (talk) 19:44, 5 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The reason why I wanted to create this company's Wikipedia page is because this company is open source, Linux, open firmware friendly company. There are already some presence on it. For example, there are devices (companies) using the open source firmware coreboot. See <https://doc.coreboot.org/distributions.html#star-labs>. In the listed ones, there are Wikipedia pages of Chrome OS devices, System76, Purism (company). But Star Labs didn't have the Wikipedia page. So, I wanted it. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Junaruga. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Framework Computer, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. 85% of all edits ever performed on this account are made to the Framework page. I would recommend you read through WP:SPA. You can continue to edit, just keep these things in mind. - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 15:32, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, AquilaFasciata. Thank you for reaching out to me. My employer is Red Hat. My job at Red Hat is not related to Framework Computer. And I am not paid by the company Framework Computer. Here is my Linkedin page <https://www.linkedin.com/in/junaruga/> as a reference. I am a user of their product, Framework Laptop. However, I have an external relationship with people. For example, I am active on their community forum site. I tried to be fair about what to write on the page. However, I cannot deny about my bias, and I definitely would like to follow Wikipedia's policy. So, I will completely stop editing Framework Computer's page, while you said "you can continue to edit". I was not aware about the WP:SPA. Junaruga (talk) 19:16, 29 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, AquilaFasciata. After I got some feedback about this from people on Framework's community forum [1] and thinking of it by myself. I will restart to contribute to Framework Computer's Wikipedia page again.
I am asking you to clarify the reasons at Framework Computer's talks page - <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Framework_Computer> - Deleted contents by restoring revision 1225028792. I hope you keep in mind by adding a summary with a reason of why you remove contributed texts when you revert or undo people's contributions. Junaruga (talk) 15:18, 8 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
