In improving Timber roof truss, keep in mind that you are working on an encyclopedia article, not a how-to guide. What are the current knowledge gaps in this article? Does it adequately discuss the different framing systems supported by roof trusses that we discussed in class, e.g., supporting widely spaced purlins with common rafters vs. supporting more closely spaced purlins directly? The potential new sources that you've identified seem very specific; consider drawing additional information from the ones already in the article (e.g., the Timber Framers Guild series) or the Lee Nelson reading assigned in the syllabus.

Finally, note that metal plate-connected (MPC) trusses are typically made of lumber, not timber.
