G'day and welcome to Wikipedia. I wanted to thank you for the useful comments and changes you made on breech birth. It is excellent to have some references added. However, I wonder if I could ask to write in a simpler manner. Some of the changes you have made have unfortunately made the article more difficult to read. If you are going to make reference to particular maneuvers or to particular medical devices they need to be explained or linked to other articles. Otherwise, the article loses its wide appeal - ease of understanding. I would try and re-write some of your material into simpler language, but I don't know what you are talking about and I often write about medical subjects. With best wishes, Henry Maustrauser 04:15, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I very much appreciate your rewrite of the article in lay language. Maustrauser 02:28, 28 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 18:41, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Pregnancy review

[edit]

Hello, sorry I did not respond right away. I would actually like to see a small WikiProject, or maybe just a task force for WikiProject Medicine, to work on pregnancy and childbirth articles. Since I have no access to medical texts, having an OB to help would be tremendous. I am not in any position to organize things, though, because I am 38 weeks pregnant myself at the moment. The project proposal is here; you can comment there and add your name to the list of those interested in participating. It does not have to be a big deal; if we have a handful of people interested in improving the related articles, we can coordinate the work using a simple centralized project page. --Ginkgo100talk 05:29, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
