If you believe that the material in question does not belong in the article, raise the question on the article talk page. Do not edit war to remove it without consensus. News accounts allege that the death resulted from hazing, which has been part of the culture of the organization. The incident also led to the University trying to dismiss the band director, and the band director alleging that he had long warned the administration about the problems of hazing within the band.
