Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, KCforSenate. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Andre🚐 17:34, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Andrew, thanks for your reply. It's my first time editing an article and there's a lot to learn!
I am, in fact, submitting this entry on behalf of my employer, so I'll be sure to disclose the conflict of interest and maintain neutrality throughout before resubmitting. We really just want to make sure there's something up for people to see when they search her name on here. KCforSenate (talk) 15:55, 6 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, thanks for abiding by the policy. You can work on the draft and bring it in line with notability and policy and submit it when it's ready. It's common for candidate articles to be rejected if there isn't much coverage about them because they weren't notable for something other than running for office. So please read carefully the policies especially the WP:GNG and WP:NPOL and you can let me know if you have any questions. Andre🚐 04:26, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you'd like to work on this article with a declared COI please use edit requests in the draft.

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
