[edit]

Hi!

Can someone help me?

I'm trying to flesh out my wiki page and can't!

Someone please help!

KOKUMO The Queen Of Queer Soul Founder & CEO Of Born Worthy Records

You greatly misunderstand what Wikipedia is. This is an encyclopedia that summarizes what publicly available independent reliable sources say about a subject, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. It isn't a place for people to tell the world about themselves like social media is. Because Wikipedia summarizes what publicly available independent sources say, your permission is not required for there to be an article about you, nor can you have exclusive control over it to dictate what it says. If there are changes, sourced to independent sources, that you would like to see, you may make a formal edit request(click for instructions) on the article talk page, Talk:Kokumo. Please readWP:OWN. 331dot (talk) 11:34, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If you wish to argue that you do not meet the Wikipedia definition of a notable person, a deletion discussion can be started on those grounds, but you cannot replace it with a page about yourself that only you control. All articles may be edited by anyone, and will not say what the subject might want them to say. 331dot (talk) 11:39, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Maroth, Rajasthan, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that User:KOKUMOTheQueenOfQueerSoul, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I'll (try to) put in simple language- every article about anyone EVER here has never asked for their likeness to receive a Wikipedia page. We simply see if they pass the notability criteria. If so, we write about the person, subject, or media and eventually publish it as a full-blown Wikipedia page. If the Wikipedia page about you has sources demonstrating notability we probably won't delete the Wikipedia page about you. GoatLordServant(Talk - Contribs) 13:21, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stuff

[edit]

Wikipedia editors are rigid about lots of stuff. White, black, does not matter. Trans, cis, does not matter. Articles about people do not 'belong' to the people they are about. No 'own.' In fact, subjects of articles are strongly advised to never edit the articles that are about them. Not add stuff. Not delete stuff. Basically, if an article about you exists, it is because a person thought you and your career were Wikipedia-notable. Other editors amended it. Stuff can be true, but belongs in the article only if verified by references. This can be VERY annoying to people who know what is written about themselves is either wrong or incomplete. Wikipedia has a 'be polite' culture. Ok to dispute content, but not to insult or criticize other editors.

Right now, Kokumo is proposed for deletion, and the creating editor - still an active editor - has been notified. That editor (or any other) can contest the Proposed. However, the next step might be to nominate the article at Articles for Deletion, a more formal process. You can comment on the Talk page of the article now, and at AfD if it goes there. Oh, and only one account. You can't be MB and KOKUMO. Continue with one or the other, but not both. David notMD (talk) 15:13, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you are the person represented by this username, please note that the practice of blocking such usernames is to protect you from being impersonated, not to discourage you from editing Wikipedia. You may choose to edit under a new username (see information below), but keep in mind that you are welcome to continue to edit under this username.

If you choose to keep your current username, please send an email to info-en@wikimedia.org including your real name and your Wikipedia username to receive instructions from our volunteer response team about account verification. Please do not send documentation without being requested to do so.

If you are not the person represented by this username, you are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our username policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you wish for your existing contributions to carry over under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" from their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a change of name request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use. Therefore, please check the list here to see if a name is taken prior to requesting a change of name.
Appeals: If, after reading the guide to appealing blocks you believe you were blocked in error, then you may appeal this block by adding {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice. Orange Mike | Talk 17:44, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
