1. There are no enough hyperlinks, if possible try to add them by referring to Wikipedia pages.

2. Don't use "&" use and, it looks so casual not in a encyclopedia

3. Rest of it, the paragraph looks fine with enough information, also add one more paragraph related to pathways associated with it, specific functions (or) in some other sections.

Overall, well explained article using many current references. The only thing that I think you might want to do is wikilink some terms in your article.
