NC4RSO

[edit]

I have moved the material from your former user page to a "user sub-page" of your new account at User:K Burkhardt/NC4RSO - that's the right place to work on it, not your main user page (on which you can say a little about yourself, if you like, but do not use it to promote the organization - main user pages are intended to help communication between the volunteers who are here to build the encyclopedia).

I have rearranged the links, and I have also added "U.S." - Wikipedia is a global encyclopedia, so if we say "national" we need to say which nation.

Can you find any more independent references to the organization? What is there seems to me marginal for our fairly demanding notability requirement, which looks for "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" - see also WP:42. If made live as it is, I'm not sure whether it would survive a notability challenge. Newly-set-up organizations are often not able to show notability until they have become established - and I should add that being a Good Cause does not provide exemption, see WP:Wikipedia is not here to tell the world about your noble cause.

Reply below here - I will watch this page. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:44, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
