Hi!

Hey, so nice to see your name on my watchlist again! Just wanted to stop by to say hi. I hope you'll be around a bit more. You've been missed. Truthkeeper (talk) 00:55, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Thank you, TK! I owe you an email, I know... I was very sorry to hear about the events of last year, and I'm just coming off my brother's anniversary myself. I hope to be back, at least for a bit, because I've missed working here and missed my friends here besides. It is very, very good to talk to you again, and I hope all is well with you. Kafka Liz (talk) 01:04, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, for that. Time seems to the right medicine at the moment. But seriously glad to see you back. Truthkeeper (talk) 03:03, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
I am truly sorry it is so belated. I wasn't quite sure what to say at the time, but it's not an excuse for waiting so long to say anything. I've not yet lost a parent, thankfully, but I do know how painful and awful it is to lose a close family member. Not to drag it all up again, but I just wanted to say. And I do hope I'm really back - I have a bad habit of resurfacing for a few weeks and then disappearing again, and I really appreciate your words of support. Kafka Liz (talk) 03:24, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for the thoughts. It means a lot. Truthkeeper (talk) 21:33, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Liz, seeing as your back, it seems, helping us, you can consider your self a consultant, and on able to enjoy the rates those people charge, the hookers and coke are free gratus. But, also, consultants are insurance, so anything goes wrong with the van eyck madonna page, its your damn head rolls first. Ceoil (talk) 01:21, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Hm, I thought hookers and blow were the purview of folks far higher up the wiki-ladder than I. Not that I'm naming names or linking anyone, of course. Kafka Liz (talk) 02:17, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Riggr Mortis is retired, the stuff we had on him is valueless now. If he surfaces again, profit, but until then, best left left. Ceoil (talk) 02:58, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Foolish man, my organisation's reach extends far beyond the bounds of an online encyclopaedia. Mr Riggr may run, but he cannot hide. Kafka Liz (talk) 00:39, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi Liz! Hope you are doing well. --Kansas Bear (talk) 02:00, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi KB, I owe you a mail as well! I started writing one a few months back... and then life intervened and I never finished it. I'll fix that. Hope all is well with you too, in the meantime! Kafka Liz (talk) 02:17, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Sunday morning tune

For you. Ceoil (talk) 11:51, 27 January 2013 (UTC)

S'up Huston. Ceoil (talk) 00:12, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
Lost transmission for a spell. Kafka Liz (talk) 23:34, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
Your in a tin can one hundred thousand miles past, which is fine, but your circuits dead, there's something wrong. Can you hear me Major Liz? <clap clap> Ceoil (talk) 23:44, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
....kkhhhh.... khhh... not reading, Green Leader.... Do you copy...? Kafka Liz (talk) 23:48, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing you can do. Oh well, the wiki goes on, saves me an AN/I report, 'user lost in space'. Which is not really actionable with admin tools. With or by, if you catch my drift. Ceoil (talk) 00:03, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
As I drift off into the night... Kafka Liz (talk) 00:19, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
[We were promised jet-packs]. Ceoil (talk) 00:36, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
Can I help with meals? Especially if the sink is of nickel stainless steel that hardly ever needs cleaning? Kafka Liz (talk) 00:40, 3 February 2013 (UTC)
The first three songs on Trompe le Monde are the three best things the Pixies ever did. Discuss. Ceoil (talk) 00:57, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
My computer is fucked right now, and my phone hates editing. Full commentary when technology allows. Kafka Liz (talk) 01:22, 4 February 2013 (UTC)
Least I grow old and die in the meantime, how is that technology developing. Ceoil (talk) 01:11, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
This one all four of my children like (precious few tunes fall in this category) - funny to hear a four year old's attempt on the lyrics. Casliber (talk · contribs) 01:33, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Your kids listen to the Surfers Casmond ? Jesus. But yeah, great track, the chorus is one of the greats, good voice on yer man. The rapping is a bit "drinking in LA at 26". Ceoil (talk) 08:59, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Well, this single was just lying 'round and I got tired of inane radio banter, so I just grabbed it and slung it on...and they all really liked it..was explaining to the kids that this was possibly their most accessible song.....Casliber (talk · contribs) 09:28, 10 February 2013 (UTC)
Ive listened to it a few times this morning, and yeah its very catchy and actually charming, in a well, you know what way. You could tap your foot to it though. Sounds like your kids will quite nunanced in early 90s correctness when they get to an age when they can boast about such. Ceoil (talk) 10:00, 10 February 2013 (UTC)

Have a huge favor to ask

I would imagine you are quite busy, but I was hoping you could assist me. I looked/read through this source, Fedele, Pietro (1910). "Ricerche per la storia di Rome e del papato al. sec. X". Archivo della Reale Società Romana di Storia Patria, 33: 177–247. I was searching for mention of Pope Lando and the former administrator of the church of Nubes Urbs, also named Lando. I was unable to find any mention of Lando, church of Nubes Urbs or the administrator Lando. Would you be interested in reading through the article and seeing if you could find this information? I will leave you the link[1]. Thanks. --Kansas Bear (talk) 03:41, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Missed this, but will try to look into f it is still relevant... Kafka Liz (talk) 12:04, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Crucifixion

I admire todays FA of the Crucifixion, meaningful beauty, - it's an honour to share history with it, look for Mark Passion in history Good Friday --Gerda Arendt (talk) 18:09, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Precious

visual arts
Thank you for quality articles for project Visual arts, such as Crucifixion and Last Judgement diptych, performed in collaboration and after "reading a lot", well described in your Barnstar of Cultural Transcendence, - repeating: you are an awesome Wikipedian (6 April 2010)!

--Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:01, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

Many thanks, Gerda, for this and your above comment. Much appreciated. Kafka Liz (talk) 12:06, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Oops!

This edit was meant as a [bad] joke! If I remember correctly it was a day when I'd reverted a lot elsewhere and when it popped on my screen I decided to revert one of my friends too. I probably should have left an explanation, but completely forgot about it. My bad - but Ceoil will see it here. Of course that was a TK revert and she was something. I'm much nicer. Good to see you editing btw. Formerly TK, now Victoria (talk) 13:48, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

Not a few times I've been scolded for doing similar to Outriggr. I was once blocked for jokingly calling JayHenry a twat, even though it was between, ahem, friends. Ah, those were the days. Ceoil (talk) 19:47, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Where is my orange bar? Now I really feel old :( Kafka Liz (talk) 00:56, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
There's a way of getting it back. Makes us all feel younger. Only problem is that I can't remember which it is of the many scripts I've had to install. Sigh. Victoria (talk) 01:19, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
I'll look in my options box and see if I can't find it. This new thing is k, but... Kafka Liz (talk) 01:25, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
