Cast names in film plots

[edit]

Please do NOT add actors' names in the plot, as you did at Housefull 4 as this is contrary to WP:FILMPLOT "Do not include actors' names in the plot summary since it is considered redundant to the "Cast" section." - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 07:51, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Use dmy dates

[edit]

Hello. I have noticed that you have changed date formats in infoboxes. Please not that those articles are tagged with Template:Use dmy dates and thus should follow the same everywhere in the article. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:27, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Sanjay Dutt, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:36, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please use date formats according to Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Dates and numbers -- DaxServer (talk) 08:37, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with DaxServer. We have a manual of style that defines how we format dates in articles. You don't get to decide. You also need to provide a source for changes to occupations in [{WP:BLP|biographies of living people]]. Laplorfill (talk) 03:37, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Ramdev, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:36, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Zoya Akhtar, you may be blocked from editing. Please note that Bombay State was dissolved in 1960, while Zoya Akhtar was born in 1972. Please stop changing it in infobox -- DaxServer (talk) 10:04, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So does Abhay Deol - Special:Diff/1028643391 -- DaxServer (talk) 10:05, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So does Alvira Khan Agnihotri - Special:Diff/1028645011 -- DaxServer (talk) 10:07, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So does Farhan Akhtar - Special:Diff/1028642136 -- DaxServer (talk) 10:14, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Zuni Chopra. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- DaxServer (talk) 10:34, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bad date formats

[edit]

Hello. Please stop changing the dates and follow the manual of style for dates: MOS:BADDATE, like you did here Special:Diff/1027823450 - Do not add leading zeros. -- DaxServer (talk) 08:40, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Arvind Joshi, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:54, 13 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation in Infoboxes

[edit]

Hi. Please set capitalisation for occupation only to the first word Special:Diff/1028645011, Special:Diff/1028643617 and probably several other. The rest should go in lowercase as described in the documentation here: Template:Infobox person. Please revert all of them to adhere to the manual of style. -- DaxServer (talk) 09:59, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So does Omi Vaidya - Special:Diff/1028209017 -- DaxServer (talk) 10:47, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Manoj Bajpayee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Rajneeti.

Courtesy notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

This notice is due to your edits as I mentioned above, and for Special:Diff/1029512648 where you have extended names of the spouse and children without stating sources as per WP:BLP -- DaxServer (talk) 14:25, 20 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
