Article Evaluation

[edit]
In the article "Flat Tax", errors showed prominently in the Eastern European section. Some of the information was not cited. This is an obstacle because the information cannot be proven to be "reliable". For the information to be reliable, it must come from a reliable source either primary or secondary. The Eastern European section needs slight improvement while other citations need significant improvement.
Other than the obvious citation errors, there were also errors pertaining to other citations throughout the article. Citation number 9 went to a link that is now unavailable, although the site it went to was IRS which would be a reliable source. Another link for a citation (number 32), went to an online website called Taxrates.cc but is now unavailable as well. So far, the citations have proven to be unreliable and outdated; they need to be changed and/or added.
Although the citations are mostly incorrect, the article had relevant information to Flat Tax. It included the history of Flat tax, explanation on to it's uses and how tax has been utilized around the world. The article is also well organized in a way that makes it easy to understand the information. Yet, since the citations were out of date, the information needs to be looked over once more to confirm if it is out of date to.
