Thanks for uploading File:Jackie puneeth.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Deletion process[edit]

You asked at Articles for deletion/Karnataka State Film Awards: "OK when will this resolve?. Who will come to remove the notice in the article?" Let me try to answer your question. First of all, based on how the discussion is going, it is clear that the outcome will be to keep the article, and then the ugly notice in the article will simply be removed. Normally, the discussion is closed after one week, so for this case that will be around 3 June. This should only be done by an uninvolved editor — and since you are involved, you can't close the discussion and remove the notice, so please just have some patience. The process is described at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion#How an AfD discussion is closed.

As you may have seen, I added (a slightly modified version of) {{Kannada-film-stub}} to the article, resulting in the following line being added at the bottom:

This article related to Kannada film is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it.

In general, adding a stub to a newly created and unfinished article gives an indication to other editors that this is a work in progress (although it is no guarantee they will pay attention to it). You can select appropriate stubs at WP:STUBS. Also, while the article is still under construction, you can put {{Under construction}} at the beginning. You should only do this as long as you are actually actively working on it. Okay, I have no idea what caused the April 2007 . No I don't understand Kannada, but since you say that he abused you, I would take your word for it. I will notify an admin and remove the offending text from your talk page. My only concern was that you made a personal attack. You could have used a template to warn the editor and notify an admin. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
