Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:54, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Discretionary sanctions alert

[edit]
This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

email

[edit]

Hi, if you want to communicate by email, you need to add your email address in your profile, and enable email. Then you would be able to send me an email message at my user page (look in the menu).

I am not sure what purpose this document will serve, however. Does it use the term "forward caste?" - Kautilya3 (talk) 14:15, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I highly recommend that you take the WP:Wikipedia Adventure tour, which will make you a better editor and it will give you enough edits to get autoconfirmed. You will then be able to edit semi-protected pages, but please make to follow all the wikipedia policies. The rules remain the same. - Kautilya3 (talk) 14:29, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it does use the term forward caste. Also, on your user page, i do not see any of your email id mentioned inorder to send you this PDF document containing complete list of Forward and Backward Castes in state of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for employment and engineering seats. Would you mind sharing your email id please

On the left side bar there is a link that says "email this user". --allthefoxes (Talk) 17:20, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No please i do not see. I would appreciate strongly if you can give me a physical email address inorder to send you a copy of it or atleast guide me thru the steps.

It looks you haven't read my first sentence: if you want to communicate by email, you need to add your email address in your profile, and enable email. - Kautilya3 (talk) 18:15, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay thanks

I did what you asked me to do, in setting up email address in my profile and than enable email. /But I dint receive any confirmation code to my email id until now. Please provide me you email id , I will send you the PDF

Perhaps you need to try it again or ask on a help desk. I don't put my email address on public web pages (such as this). But if you want to publish your email address, I can send you a message. Please keep in my mind that you obliged not to divulge private email addresses to anybody. - Kautilya3 (talk) 14:33, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

Hello, welcome to Wikipedia. Please note that it's not allowed to add text copied from other websites to Wikipedia, not even on talkpages, as you did here and here. Don't add such material, and do not restore it when an experienced user removes it. The text you added can be found in many places on the internet, for example here; it's obvious that it's copyrighted; it's not free to use, but belongs to the person who created it. Pasting it into Wikipedia could get the Wikimedia foundation sued for violation of somebody else's copyright. You may link to a source, but you may not copy text from it. If you do so again, you may be blocked from editing or topic banned from caste articles. Also, are you related to User:Aloksharma12? (Compare the Sock puppetry policy.) You make very similar edits and have even pasted in the very same copyright violations on Talk:Telaga. Please reply below. Bishonen | talk 18:53, 24 January 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Hi Bishonen - Just so you know, I did ask the user the same question on Talk:Telaga (where they said they were not related) and I do have an SPI case open here. Thank you for coming around to take a look. --allthefoxes (Talk) 19:19, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It seems there is lot of confusion on status of Kapu caste. Are they listed as Other Caste under status column or Forward Caste. If not please kindly add a column saying they are forward. Please refer to references provided by K Srinivasulu a PDF showing Kapu caste as forward. Also list Telaga and BAlija as forward and munnuru kapu as backward.
