Information icon Hello, I'm Glane23. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Deepak Kumar— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk or my talk page. Thank you. (edit conflict) It looks like you were overwriting an existing page to create an article (potentially about yourself, so you might want to read about the project's guide on conflicts of interest). The community has developed a lot of policies and guidelines which all editors should try to work within. Since you didn't explain in your edit summary what you were doing, and because you were removing content, your edits appeared to be vandalism. Perhaps you might want to read about creating your first article or perhaps take the the Wikipedia Adventure to learn about how you can contribute? (I highly recommend the Wikipedia Adventure.) --Policy Reformer(c) 02:12, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop overwriting the article at Deepak Kumar. Instead, please make a a new article if you can establish the notability of the person you want to write about. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:22, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Deepak Kumar. Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Deepak Kumar was changed by Karanshrivastva (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.91308 on 2018-08-13T03:33:07+00:00 .

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 03:33, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Deepak Kumar, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:24, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Karanshrivastva. Per my note above, as well as Gogo Dodo's, I think it would be very helpful if you looked at guides on creating your first article. Alternatively, perhaps we could start a dialog here? That is a part of Wikipedia's process of being bold, reverting, and discussing. (Your edits were bold, they've been reverted, so now would be a good time to discuss.) If you would like to contribute to the project as part of the community, we would welcome your contributions. If instead you pursue your current course, you are likely only an edit or two away from being blocked. Please let us know how we can help you. Thanks for your time. --Policy Reformer(c) 04:41, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If you do want to jump right in, you might also try the article wizard if you're trying to create a new article. --Policy Reformer(c) 04:45, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please stop overwriting the Deepak Kumar article? Please create a new article with the article wizard. If you continue to disruptively edit the Deepak Kumar article and not respond to the messages that are being left for you, I will temporarily block you from editing. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:21, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Deepak Kumar. MBlaze Lightning talk 05:30, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Karanshrivastva, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
