License tagging for Image:DeBarraKarate.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:DeBarraKarate.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:06, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

photo clarifications[edit]

I have added clarifications and corrections to the photos in the article, DeBarra Mayo. I am trying my best to provide accurate information that conforms with the policies, but I'm still going through a learning curve. If anything needs to be fixed, validated, or clarified I will comply.

clarification[edit]

I would like to present this photo for illustrative purposes related to the article, DeBarra Mayo. I have added a corrected license. It may also be released to public domain for other purposes. DeBarra Mayo owns the rights to this photo.

help[edit]

I would like to use the large blue quotes to offset some quotes in my article. I tried the {{cquote| } command, but it won't work. Thank you to anybody who can help. KarateLadyKarateLady 04:02, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

red links[edit]

Several red links on this page. Perhaps new articles needed for the links or external links created?

DeBarra Mayo[edit]

Given the lack of other contributors, the high level of detail, and other things, this article seems like it may in fact be an autobiography. Writing autobiographical articles is generally regarded as a bad idea - please see WP:AUTO. fbb_fan 16:11, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

clarification[edit]

Details are presented for validation of assertions within the article and for historical purposes.

DeBarra Mayo made significant contributions to the fitness and health movement of the 1980s. Her name continues to be recognizable and respected for her health and fitness contributions. Any improvements to this article from other contributors is welcomed. KarateLadyKarateLady 16:38, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

references and notes help[edit]

I need help with adding references and notes. I tried to improve the article by adding proper validation, however, some of the material needed to be put under references instead of being added to the body of the text. Now the reference numbers are mixed up and I can't figure out how to fix it.

The details presented in this article are presented for historical reference. I have provided the most accurate information I can find. The fitness craze in the USA during the 1980s is historically relevant. DeBarra Mayo's name emerged during that time for her health and fitness related writings. The intention of presenting this article is for historical reference and updated information about DeBarra Mayo and her ongoing contributions to health and fitness awareness in the USA.

Any help to improve this article is appreciated. Thank you. KarateLadyKarateLady 19:14, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The reference numbers appear to be mixed up because a hyphen, - , was in the reference. It seems to interfere with the coding. Tyrenius 09:10, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

attention administrators[edit]

I have removed some details in an attempt to conform to policy since somebody has tagged this article for deletion. I do not agree with the tag and I am trying to fix whatever needs to be fixed in order to conform to policy. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. KarateLadyKarateLady 21:34, 28 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have done a quick edit of the article to get it into a form which should meet with more acceptance. You have done a good job for a new editor (. Please try to leave edit summaries as it helps other editors to see what changes have been made. You can alter your preferences settings to remind you to leave a summary. Admins are not responsible for helping with editorial content, unless they choose to personally, by the way. Tyrenius 05:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you Tyrenius[edit]

A BIG thank you to Tyrenius for the rewrite and to everyone who added comments, both pro and con. I am working hard to get up to speed. I'm trying to add good quality articles and information related to American authors and sports/fitness related articles (and others). KarateLadyKarateLady 15:00, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you (I almost missed this - best to post on the other user's page, though not obligatory). It is wonderful news that you are so enthusiastic and I think you will have some valuable material to add in your field of interest. Don't worry if you get it wrong, or someone jumps on you occasionally. Just tell them you're a new editor and ask how to do it properly. As I think you've already discovered, there are people willing to help out, and you've got some more exprerienced wikipedians to turn to now. If you're not sure how to do something, a good tip is to find another article where it's been done, click "edit". Copy the relevant coding and adapt as necessary. Eric Schiffmann article[edit]

Looks like Erich Schiffmann spells his first name Erich. I created this new article but I need to correct the spelling of his first name.

I moved it for you. You should be able to find it here: Erich Schiffmann. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 16:03, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. Let me know if you need any further help with anything. Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 16:49, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar[edit]

Thank you very much for the star.

(It's probably, for future reference, usual to put it on someone's talk page (then they actually notice it!), but I don't think anyone's going to strongly object to such a positive gesture wherever it is.)

Tyrenius 17:34, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

references[edit]

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong when I try to add references. I make them but either they don't work or the numbers are wrong. Am I supposed to type the reference under the level 2 heading?

Also, should I put an external link in the body of a text, or with the tool bar above as I type this, or is it best to put it at the bottom.

Thanks for any help.

Reply[edit]

External links should always be placed in the bottom of the article - and also, please see here for guidelines on placing external links. Do you need help with the WikiSyntax? =) –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 01:24, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As for references, usually a <ref>(insert link here)</ref> tag is used right after the sentence to be verified. At the end of the article, then, place==References== and <div class="references-small"> <references/></div> in the article, and the references should show up. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 01:27, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Haha... It's a trade secret! (just kidding). Actually, a bot keeps track of the various users seeking help and forwards the usernames to Wikipedians who help via IRC, so we can get there quite quickly. =D Please don't hesitate to contact me in the future. –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 01:42, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, there are many bots that patrol and go around Wikipedia - many, many - each doing different things. Most are programmed by Wikipedians to help do menial, repetitive chores (just like why we would need robots in real life). –- kungming·2 | (Talk·Contact) 02:36, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nike etc[edit]

I think the recent concerns you raised are not significant in the article. It doesn't give any implication that Nike is ongoing. It just says it happened at once point. The bit about the website is also not of great import. These things might be important to the subject of the article, but not to the reader or the editor. That is the problem with being too involved it... We could do with some external links, particularly if any of the writing of DeBarra are online. Tyrenius 21:01, 30 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies[edit]

Hello KarateLady. I'm very sorry I wasn't around when you posted your questions on my talk page (real life kept me offline, I'm afraid). I'm pleased to know that you were able to find the answers you looking for. It looks like your wiki-confidence is growing and that you're finding your way and making some good contributions. Please feel free to drop by my talk page any time and I will do my best to assist you or point you in the direction of someone better able to help. Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 10:32, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't worry, you're not the only one stuck in the '80s. I remember that Jefferson Starship song very well. I could hear it in my head as soon as you mentioned it! Some of my school friends used to drive me crazy singing it! I'm pleased to hear you have a good hubby who's making sure you get plenty of rest. I hope you have a very speedy recovery from the surgery. At least you'll be a certified wiki-pro by the time you're back on your feet. :) Sarah Ewart (Talk) 20:50, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, just a tip I thought to mention to you when I was copyediting one of your articles. When you mention an American location, such as Morgantown, West Virginia, it's best to write the state fully, rather than Morgantown WV. American state abbreviations don't really mean anything to non-Americans, so it just makes it a lot clearer for the reader. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 20:57, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No worries. I should add that there's also a technical reason for it. The abbreviated location, eg Morgantown, WV, goes to a redirect page first. If you click on that you'll see at the top left corner, under the heading, it says "(Redirected from Morgantown, WV)". But if you click on Morgantown, West Virginia it goes straight to the article page. After a while, you'll notice that wiki-style prefers the direct routing. But on a practical level it makes it a lot easier for non-Americans to follow. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 21:45, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

need help again[edit]

I put a reference on the article "Ariel Tomioka" and although it works now, I still did something wrong. Can somebody please look at the article and tell me what I did wrong? Thank you, KarateLadyKarateLady 13:14, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the formatting of the tag. However, you may want to cite the book and page number itself and not just "Biography page in Tomioka's books". (I understand the same page is probably used in each, but it looks better. Maybe the publisher's name?) -- Merope 14:04, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

how to wikify[edit]

Hi there Wiki-worlders...how do I add a tag to an article that needs to be wikified? I'm trying to do fix-up on the Richard Bach article. I've already cleaned up some things, but it needs more. KarateLadyKarateLady 15:57, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, the template you're looking for is {{wikify}}, or {{wikify-date|August 2006}} (Change the month/year as appropriate). The date refers to the date you tagged the article. Just put either of those tags (the latter is recommended) at the top of the article in question. Cheers, Tangotango 16:00, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page talk[edit]

Feel free to ask. Check out some useful pages. Tyrenius 21:47, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have deleted this article. It can always be undeleted, but we need to talk about this. Please hold your horses a bit for now. Get the feel of things by doing smaller edits on other articles, and also seeing what makes for notability. You might want to participate in some WP:AfD discussions to open your eyes to the fate that can await. There can easily be a chain reaction through an editor's articles, if they seem on a par with each other in the notability stakes. Tyrenius 23:03, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for being so understanding. I don't want you to do a lot of wasted work through missing some of the established thinking (which isn't necessarily what is written down!) and then feeling disillusioned, because I can see you are making good headway, and enjoying life here. It can be a bit tricky from time to time, so the best thing is to gain wide exprerience and develop a weather eye, and a bit of savvy to gain the most for yourself and the project. You are welcome to email me also if you want to sound out anything in private. Go to my user page and click "Email this user" in bottom left hand box (you'll need to enable your email). Tyrenius 23:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Email[edit]

For ease of use that sort of question (which isn't about the article) is probably best left on a user talk page... Nobody sees it until you reply to that person, and then they see it (because you've sent them an email), but no one else. Your IP address may be visible in the header (to that particualar person only), but if you open a dedicated account on www.gmail.com (free) nobody will. You might have to get invited to join by another user. If that's the case and you email me, I will email you an invite. Tyrenius 02:28, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I messed up again  :([edit]

Please look at article Erich Schiffmann. For some reason the references are duplicated and heaven knows I don't know what I did wrong. :( I am making progress, however, over yesterday. Thank you, KarateLadyKarateLady 23:10, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't mess up - there was a bug that was causing duplicated referencing. I think clearing your cache was a workaround. —Keakealani talkcontribs 23:30, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DeBarra Mayo referencing[edit]

Would you be able to go through this with a fine toothcomb, referencing every single thing that you can. See Anna Svidersky for tight referencing, and also in the notes at the bottom the format for citations, with author, year, newspaper article title, etc. Page number not needed for newspaper, but is needed for book ref. Anything online would be useful. If it's pay to view, make a note of that also. I hope that's OK. Tyrenius 03:40, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. KarateLadyKarateLady 04:51, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for doing some more work on this. However... here's the next wikilesson! Take this statement:

Due to complications relating to epilepsy, she withdrew from public life for several years, and assisted the Epilepsy Information Service at Wake Forest University with the production of research and educational tools

You have put a reference for this. The reference goes to Dr Gibson's page. This does not mention Mayo, so it is not a proper reference for the statement, as it does not prove the truth of the statement, namely that Mayo assisted there, which is what we are concerned with in this article. A reference should only be given where it validates the article, not for ancillary information. I hope this makes sense. Tyrenius 17:16, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikify tag / Redirecting pages[edit]

I see that you are a newbie. :) And I know we have lots and lots of templates for cleanup, so I thought I'd explain the wikify tag. Putting it on an article means that the article is not formatted properly, i.e. 0 or few very words are linked, it's not in any categories or it has bad formatting. Well, the Ali MacGraw page is well formatted and has no mistakes. Does it need work? Probably. But that is better utilized by one of the cleanup tags, not the wikify tag. Here is a list of the cleanup tags. In the case of the MacGraw article, the expand tag might work best. It's on that page.

Also, as for redirects, you had said that you don't know how to do them. All you need to do is to go to the redirect you want to create (in this case, you would search for "Ali Macgraw" and then click on the red link it gives you). Then you would type in #REDIRECT: [[Ali MacGraw]]. Easy as that. I'll leave it to you to make the redirect so you can see how it's done. And if you don't do it right, you can always edit the page until you get it right. I've been at this for nearly 2 years and I learned most of my skills on here through trial and error. Hope this helps. --Woohookitty(meow) 11:03, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey no problem. :) If you have any other questions, let me know. I know it's hard for newbies around here. By the very nature of the site, things aren't laid out nice and neatly. I wish they were. :) Makes it hard at first. And it gets more complex, not less. I started in December 2004. The number of cleanup templates has TRIPLED since then. Tripled. --Woohookitty(meow) 13:05, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

additional informaton added[edit]

I am in the process of adding additional reference information to the DeBarra Mayo article, but I don't know how to do the a, b, c, d, etc. and how to format this. Tyrenius suggested looking at Anna Svidersky for tight referencing, and it looks great, so I would like to follow the same format.

Hi, citing is described at WP:CITE. Let us know if this doesn't resolve your query. Cheers, Tangotango 16:16, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bodybuilding wins are listed in Dominion Post, Times West Virginian, Wheeling Register, Danville News and Press Enterprise, and Daily Anthenaeum.

WVU training and Franco Harris reference listed in Wheeling Register and Daily Anthenaeum.

Erie Times columns stored at Erie, Pennsylvania public library. Gettysburg Times columns can be viewed online at newspaperarchives. com. The site shows a thumbnail of the article on the syndicated page, but they charge a fee for viewing beyond that. 22 articles of DeBarra Mayo are listed on there. I have more to add to this user page note, will add later, KarateLadyKarateLady 14:21, 2 September 2006 (UTC) Mid-week newsmagazine is no longer in business, but reference to Mayo writing for the newsmagazine is listed in the Dominion Post article, Mayo 30, 1982.[reply]

1983 Golden Body Contest was held at Williamsport High School auditorium, Williamsport, Maryland.

Nike's Body elite program was handled by Lori Smith, located at the corporate office in Oregon.

Anderson World Books entered into an agreement with MacMillan Publishers, New York to distribute DeBarra Mayo's books, May 1, 1984 and officially ended December 31, 1987. Records should be available at MacMillan Publishers.

need help[edit]

Something is wrong with the Catherine Cassidy article. Some text has disappeared and I can't figure out why. I was trying to add references, maybe I did it wrong, but I can't seem to find the problem. Thank you, KarateLadyKarateLady 21:23, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed what I could see wrong see here, the problem being you put <ref/> rather than </ref>. The <references/> is correct as it is a short hand for <references></references>, hope this helps. --pgk 21:30, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple referencing[edit]

Ok, here's how to do it. The very first time the reference appears in the article, it looks something like this:

<ref name="guardian"> Jonze, Tim (2006)[http://technology.guardian.co.uk/news/story/0,,1775013,00.html "Death on MySpace"] ''The Guardian'' (online), May 15 2006. Accessed May 23, 2006 </ref>

Please note the important bit at the beginning:

<ref name="guardian">

Whenever you next want to use this particular reference in the article, all you have to type is this bit with a slash in it:

<ref name="guardian"/>

If you don't type the slash, the rest of the article will not be visible when you upload it!

To get these then to appear in the appropriate place, but the following below the "see also" section and above the "external links" section:

==Notes and references==<br>
<references/>

or a variation such as:

<div class="references-small">
<references/>
</div></>nowiki>

If books are cited, then these should be listed under a section "References", the references in the text to page numbers of the book with the author's name, and the "Notes and references" section should be called instead "Footnotes".

Tyrenius 23:40, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stars[edit]

No barnstars please! Tyrenius 00:54, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Choose a keyword (or words), but make sure it's not a common one which you're likely to use for another reference. You might find some things don't work (numbers? dashes?). If you do a preview, you'll see if something works or not. Tyrenius 01:40, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of red links[edit]

I noticed that you have removed red links from some pages, such as Ali McGraw and Heather Locklear. Red links often serve a useful purpose, indicating articles that need to be written, and links such as the ones you removed generally should be left alone (among other things, once these articles eventually get written, people are unlikely to restore the links promptly). Please see Wikipedia:Red link. fbb_fan 04:21, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thank you for your kind message, KL. Your feedback was very much appreciated. I'm very happy to see that your finding your way. Your articles are looking great with the referencing. As I'm sure you appreciate, the more, specific references the better. Especially for biographies. So you're definitely doing good work on that front. No, no grey hairs at my end. Your openness to other opinions and your willingness to ask for help when you're stuck makes you a pleasure to work with. So definitely no problems at all for me.
Thanks for your comment about my dog. The funny thing is, he's actually a 14-year-old! Most people think he looks like a puppy and are really surprised when I tell them he's really 98 in dog years! He still loves playing and acts very puppyish so I find it very easy to forget he's not a puppy anymore.
I hope you're recovering well from your surgery. :) Sarah Ewart (Talk) 10:23, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

In order to pull up the article Ali MacGraw, you have to use the upper case G. How do you make the name come up with a variety of spellings or lower case because people frequently spell her name wrong. KarateLadyKarateLady 03:40, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! In order to get alternative spellings to go to that article, you have to create redirects. You do this by typing in the alternative spelling that you want to go to the page, then click on the redlink for that name, then for that new page type #REDIRECT [[Ali MacGraw]] and save the page. Hope this helps, and perhaps this page could explain it better if you still need some help. Cheers, EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 04:08, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, no problem! Continue to use {{helpme}} for those simple questions, but feel free to send me a message if there's anything else you need. EWS23 (Leave me a message!) 04:14, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing[edit]

Please study the comments above in "DeBarro Mayo referencing". For example this reference "chief instructor Salvadore Convento, [3]" links to the web page for the institution but is not a reference for Mayo, as it does not show her on the page as an instructor, so should be removed. You might like to check for similar instances. The reference must prove the statement, or it is not a proper reference.

I've had a look at Erich Schiffer. That was a very useful contribution. I've formatted the refs and you might like to check the diffs in the edit history to see what needed to be done.

Tyrenius 05:08, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That was just an example. You need to check the other refs, which I haven't done: I just spotted that one. You're doing a sterling job getting to grips with all this complexity. Tyrenius 05:15, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re Questions[edit]

Hi KarateLady, glad to hear you're recovering. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for, so tell me if it's not, but here's a few categories:

Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 05:12, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're most welcome, KL.
Sometimes I hit the navigation button on the left called "Random article". This takes you to a completely random Wiki article. I find if you hit it a few times (at the most) you'll find an article that needs some basic editing, such as spelling or grammar errors, basic formatting, wiki-linking various words, adding cats, adding some sources etc. You could try doing this if you're ever looking for something to do. You write well, so I'm sure you'd be excellent at that kind of copyediting.
I, too, was very upset about the Steve Irwin tragedy. My heart aches for his poor children and for the other children in the world who loved him and thought of him as their "Superman".
You have fantastic taste in dogs! :) Sarah Ewart (Talk) 15:28, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

External link format[edit]

Check it out.[1] Note asterisk to start. Tyrenius 05:50, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

Please look at article "Heidi Miller." For some reason the references don't format correctly. I can't figure out what I did wrong. Thank you. KarateLadyKarateLady 14:37, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The bullet point before the code in the References section was screwing it up. I removed it, and it looks okay now. J Ditalk 14:44, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. KarateLadyKarateLady 14:47, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS on help me[edit]

How many spaces do I put between the internet address and the name of the website in order for it to show properly in the reference section. Do I put a * before the <ref> too? KarateLadyJ Ditalk 14:46, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't use bullet points. The links aren't formatted properly, they're supposed to be like this: [http://www.example.com link title] I'll fix them now. J Ditalk 14:46, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks again. KarateLadyKarateLady 14:49, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Accessed date[edit]

This is the date you actually looked at a web site to get the info. If the web site changes or becomes defunct it may be possible to use a site called waybackmachine to access a past version from that date.

If you're stuck with coding, just find another article which has something similar to what you want, go into edit mode, copy the code and adapt it to what you want. Then just close the page you've copied, without bothering to save it.

Tyrenius 11:59, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

What does this mean "&ndash" and when do I use it? KarateLadyKarateLady 15:09, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where have you seen that? If you aren't sue on the usage you probably don't need to worry about it. Generally speaking an ndash is a typographical term for a dash which is the width on a capital N, similary mdash the width of a capital M.

– &ndash;
N

— &mdash;
M

pgk 15:15, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The manual of style contains most information on such matters. They are guidelines so not necessarily uniformly used and indeed if there is a good reason to ignore them you can. For dashes there is a specific section --pgk 15:26, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Typically m dash is used in text, with or without a space either side (although n dash can be), n dash between dates, normal hypen on keyboard in a hyphenated word (I think that's right). Tyrenius 15:51, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Books[edit]

Under the heading ==References== list the books, e.g.:

  • Bloggs, Fred (2002), "My Life as an Air Raid Warden" Universal Publishers, London ISBN 1-345987-21-7

Under the heading ==Footnotes== put the usual code, i.e. <references/>. Then in the text put the reference, as per usual footnotes:

<ref name=Bloggs105>Bloggs p.105</ref>

The second and subsequent times you refer to this page, you can just put:

<ref name=Bloggs105/>

If you want to reference a different page, then follow the above procedure to create the appropriate reference, changing the number.

NB: In this case, instead of one heading ==Notes and references==, there are two headings, as stated above.

Tyrenius 06:56, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey KarateLady, sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I had a few things going on and I noticed Tyrenius was kind enough to respond to your questions about referencing books. Article Fereydoon Batmanghelidj, M.D. has his named spelled wrong at the top of the page. An extra letter "a" has been added to his last name and I don't know how to fix it. KarateLadyKarateLady 19:30, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done. I moved the page to the right name. Cheers. NCurse work 20:02, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

question[edit]

I am trying to add "missing birth" category to article Heidi Miller and for some reason it comes up in red and I can't figure out why. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, KarateLadyKarateLady 03:23, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That was amazingly good timing! I was just on my way here to tell you you should have email. I'll check the cat and be back in a minute. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 03:25, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It should be right now. I don't think there's a cat called "Missing birth". I just changed it to "Date of birth missing" and it looks okay now. Sarah Ewart (Talk) 03:32, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
