Welcome!

Hello Karunyans, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

In Wikipedia, new Users do not automatically receive a welcome; not even a machine-generated welcome. Welcome messages come from other Users. They are personal and genuine. They contain an offer of assistance if such assistance is ever desired.

I suggest to everyone I welcome that they may find some of the following helpful — there’s nothing personal in my suggestion and you may not need any of them:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Dolphin (t) 08:46, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. But I've been accused of sockpuppetry. Can you help me? I've read all the policy pages. But I don't know what to do. -- Karunyan, 03:45, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Karunyan for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page.   — Jeff G. ツ 23:02, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

No Sockpuppetry

Decline reason:

It appears very clear you are the same user as Karunyan. If you want an unblock, you need to go back to that account. Further attempts at circumventing the block will only make things worse. Fut.Perf. 10:09, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

O well. I'm not sure what was more stupid: calling myself Karunyans or posting on Jeff's talkpage. -- Karunyan, 11:01, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

O no no no. I don't have any sockpuppets on Wikipedia. I wanted the username "Karunyan". Since it had already been taken, I added an 's'. When I saw that that user was blocked indefinitely, I thought of usurping it. I also changed my signature. At no point until now I knew that he was still active and vandalising "India oriented articles". -- Karunyan, 03:40, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
