Proposed deletion of Kash Hovey[edit]

The article Kash Hovey has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable actor (doesn't meet WP:GNG, WP:ENTERTAINER) with appearances in two non-notable films, a future film, and a TV pilot. The citations in the article are almost all to cast lists on IMDb, and one is to a small independent film night.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Largoplazo (talk) 21:02, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kash Hovey I will stop making edits for this page. Please no not delete this page or prevent it from being created in the future. Thank you for your consideration.

December 2016[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue removing Biographies of Living Persons PRODs without addressing the issue, as you did with Kash Hovey, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Chrissymad ❯❯❯ Talk 21:48, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That wasn't a BLPPROD tag, that was an ordinary PROD tag, which he was entitled to delete! Largoplazo (talk) 22:04, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

About my second removal of all those links to photos of him (you?) on the Web: Wikipedia articles aren't a portal to publicity materials about a person, and collections of photos of a person aren't sources that can be cited to support an article. External links should only be to valuable supplemental reference information. See WP:External links for more information. Largoplazo (talk) 22:20, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Kash Hovey, did not appear constructive and has been undone. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. This is about your repeated introduction of an inappropriate list of links to photos of the article's subject, as well as your (ineffective) attempt to embed a video on the page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia, not a publicity vehicle or social media site. Largoplazo (talk) 22:29, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Jack and Cocaine[edit]

The article Jack and Cocaine has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable film. Meets neither WP:GNG nor WP:NFILM. Via Google one finds only the faintest of coverage in any independent source.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Editing with a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Kashmoney17. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Largoplazo (talk) 21:52, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:03, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've blocked you for several reasons, which are as follows:
  1. You seem to be here to promote Kash Hovey, as your edits solely surround him and the article you made for him (twice) reads like something a marketing person or the person himself would write. The other articles you've written aren't much better and I note that you also tried to add him into other articles as well.
  2. The article on Hovey was deleted after it was decided that it failed WP:NACTOR, yet you re-added it to Wikipedia very shortly after, a move that is seen as disruptive.
  3. On the talk page for the actor you use the term "we" to describe yourself, giving off the impression that this is a shared account. Shared accounts are not permitted on Wikipedia.
  4. Your username gives off the very, very strong impression that you are Kash Hovey or someone that is affiliated or related to him somehow. You have not disclosed your identity, which is a requirement per WP:COI.
My thought is that you are the actor and likely another person trying to add yourself to Wikipedia. Please stop doing this. If you are notable then someone will add you to Wikipedia when you pass NACTOR. Don't take this personally, as it takes an awful lot for someone to pass NACTOR and I've seen people act in several fairly well known movies, yet still fail notability guidelines overall because the film/show/etc either didn't gain enough coverage to be considered notable or the role was too minor to be seen as substantial enough to give notability.
You might be able to be unblocked, but one of the requirements would be that you cannot write about Hovey or anything that he has been in and/or is affiliated with. This restriction also extends to anyone who is affiliated with or related to Hovey. As such, you need to give us an example of what you will do if you are unblocked. • It looks like you did not create the second article, although you did create the first one. It's a little suspicious that a second account would show up to create the article so soon after the deletion of the first one - and that you would also edit soon after. It looks like the other account is the one who made the "we" comment, so I've struck these - however the overall gist of this is still key and now I'm concerned that these two accounts are linked together somehow. Your draft article, Draft:Undateable John[edit]

Hello, Kashmoney17. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Undateable John".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.
