Please provide reasons for speedy deletion nominations
[edit]When nominating articles for speedy deletion, please be sure to include the applicable criteria within your nomination. You can do this either by using the syntax {{db|1=some reason}}, or using a specific speedy deletion template. Thanks. --ZimZalaBim talk 22:33, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

This article is one that I created on behalf of another user as a volunteer on Articles for Creation. Had I realized the article did not indicate where the village was, I would have turned it down. I suggest you take up the issue with the user who requested the article, which can be found in the article history. Redfarmer (talk) 01:40, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Łzy is a good group. When I was in Poland I bought 2 albums. It's important that Łzy has a voice in italian wiki. Bye. Perkele —Preceding unsigned comment added by Perkeleperkele (talk • contribs) 09:28, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Italian alps
[edit]Hello K.! It would be great if you upload the IMG_3910 and IMG_3915 on wiki commons so i can link them to the Val Paghera (Vezza d'Oglio) and to the Corno Baitone pages. I'd like also to add a new page about Lago d'Aviolo and then use the one with the lake for this page (only Italian language for now...). If you want, of course... ;)
Liviuz (talk) 15:02, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi! I've added details to the pictures (if they aren't enough let me know) and now they are linked to: w:it:Val Paghera (Vezza d'Oglio). Bye! Liviuz (talk) 16:57, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Why was the article deleted even when I added the hangon template to it and mentioned sources on the talk page that showed why it's necessary to have it on Wikipedia? Asad Mahmood Butt (talk) 13:03, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Benedykta Mackieło
[edit]I have nominated Benedykta Mackieło, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Benedykta Mackieło. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. rootology (C)(T) 23:14, 11 December 2008 (UTC)
I have nominated this article you created for deletion. In fairness, the polite thing to do would have been to leave it a bit for expansion, but I had not realised until just now that the article had only been around a few hours. Sorry on that one, but all the same I still don't see that the article satisfies notability requirements. If you can prove me wrong, though, feel free at the AfD page ;). Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 16:02, 14 March 2009 (UTC)
- If those on board show sufficient notability I will certainly reconsider. Again, if I had checked the history and seen the short time it had been around, then I might have had all the facts with which to judge. I will wait and see what new information you have to add over the next few days. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 18:15, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Kasjanek21! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 329 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to KLM destinations. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Monitor. WikiProject Poland Newsletter: Issue 1 (April 2011)
[edit]
WikiProject Poland Newsletter • April 2011
For our freedom and yours Welcome to our first issue of WikiProject Poland newsletter, the Monitor (named after the first Polish newspaper). Our Project has been operational since 1 June, 2005, and also serves as the Poland-related Wikipedia notice board. I highly recommend watchlisting the Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland page, so you can be aware of the ongoing discussions. We hope you will join us in them, if you haven't done so already! Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; in this year alone about 40 threads have been started on our discussion page, and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised. In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop:
This is not all; on our page you can find a list of useful templates (including userboxes), awards and other tools! With all that said, how about you join our discussions at WT:POLAND? Surely, there must be something you could help others with, or perhaps you are in need of assistance yourself? You have received this newsletter because you are listed as a [member link] at WikiProject Poland. • Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 21:11, 25 April 2011 (UTC) |

For our freedom and yours Welcome to the second issue of WikiProject Poland newsletter, the Monitor (named after the first Polish newspaper). Unlike many other WikiProjects, we are quite active; we get close to a hundred discussion threads each year and we do a pretty good job at answering all issues raised. Last year we were featured in the Signpost, and our interviewer was amazed at our activity. In the end, however, even as active as we are, we are just a tiny group - you can easily become one of our core members! In addition to a lively encyclopedic, Poland-related, English-language discussion forum, we have numerous useful tools that can be of use to you - and that you could help us maintain and develop:
This is not all; on our page you can find a list of useful templates (including userboxes), awards and other tools!
It took me three years to finish this issue. Feel free to help out getting the next one before 2017 by being more active in WikiProject management :) You have received this newsletter because you are listed as a member at WikiProject Poland. |
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 09:18, 6 November 2016 (UTC)
