License tagging for Image:MakeMeWannaScream.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:MakeMeWannaScream.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:08, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

Hmm. I know we can't remove them from the Google index where they will remain until the next crawl. Though we could always remove them from the archive page from which they have been indexed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:WebHamster/Archive_2 I didn't want to do it myself because it asks not to at the top of the page. But for people who don't understand the Wiki terminology (ie "Speedy Delete") it reflects poorly on our business. Can we please take the required measures to fix this? Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:KayKBayZ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 14:18, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
