Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Kbaze, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Brianda and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Please stop trying to use New World Encyclopedia as a reference

[edit]

New World Encyclopedia is a content fork, and as such it's not an appropriate reference. OhNoitsJamie Talk 11:45, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Ohnoitsjamie, Thanks for looking out. I see you posted it on the talk page of a couple editors in this class. I checked out this diff, and it seems like they used the World History Encyclopedia as a source, not New World Encyclopedia. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:18, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm referring to attempted edits that were blocked by one of my edit filters. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:35, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
