Hi

Sorry for making that, but I felt I had to tag Bunchofgrapes (talk · contribs) because he's been fighting with another user and he is using his admin priviledges to keep that person off and make him suffer. Ranchof32 15:24, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

If you feel Bunchofgrapes is abusing his admin priviledges, you can bring it up at WP:RFC/ADMIN. Creating attack pages won't help your case however. Kesac 15:28, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the reverts, Kesac! (EddieSegoura there is banned by the community; he needs to make his case (via off-wiki channels) to either ArbCom or Jimbo Wales.) —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 16:02, 29 December 2006 (UTC)

The so-called ban is not a legitimate one. Bunchofgrapes imposed this on eddie and continues to enforce it. He has no right to decide who can and cannot edit wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by E12.29.2006. (talkcontribs)

Hi I erased any legal threats!! Sorry...didn't read those rules. I do represent Dr Rey and was disappointed to see someone just lie about him on his biography like that (we've had problems with people harassing him, extortion etc..., so I am vigilant about defamation). Anyhow, I'll just deal with the editor on talk pages etc... without any legal threats. Thank you!

Ukraine

Hi. Considerng every Ukrainian I've ever known (including family who were born there) has referred to the country as "The Ukraine," I really feel it is incorrect to include the word "incorrect" in the alternate name statement on that page. So, with all due respect, I'm changing it back. Hoshq 22:23, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

The problem is, your edit deleted a good portion of the page as well. Please check this diff: [2]. It was probably accidential -- your browser probably cut off the text in the edit box. I've readded the change you made in the first paragraph. You may want to read Wikipedia:Article size for more information about the problem. Thanks! Kesac 22:30, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Hi there, Thanks for the revert on my userpage. I'm pretty sure User:Hotmofo vandalised my page as User:Sett46 last week, and he claims in his vandalism on my page that he is User:Rusty shackelford. There are about 10 similar usernames to that, none of which seem to be blocked, although User:Rusty Shacklefrod, User:Rustyshackleforded have warnings. User:RustyShackleford seems to be unrelated. I'll keep my eyes open for this guy. Later, Flyguy649talkcontribs 03:07, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

About my template? its perfectly fine.Zora72 03:57, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

It's not appropriate for Wikipedia. When would the template be used? How would it improve the article? If you think an article is good, you could nominate it for Good Article status. I tagged it as nonsense because of the all caps, and the wording of the template (THIS ARTICLE IS TOO GOOD FOR YOU TO MESS UP.) would draw vandals like moths to a flame. Side note: the image in the template does not have any license information. Kesac 04:09, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Personal Attacks???

Hello, I'm the maker of the page Crink, and I feel that your speedy deletion is an unjust charge. First off, there's no way you read in like .2 seconds, so you obviously tagged it with a random charge. Maybe if you took the time to read the article on Crink you would see that it is an educational source.I am just trying to educate the people about Crink. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Crink69 (talkcontribs) 20:38, 12 May 2007 (UTC).

I am the maker of the article on Crink, and I feel that you have deleted my uplifting article on Crink for no apparent Reason. The word Crink is not a personal attack because it is not based on any person. If you were to walk around just about any suburban town, you will hear the word Crink being used excessively, thus it is a real word. I do believe that wikipedia has an article on the vulgar word Fuck, why should I not be able to spread the word about Crink? I am begging you do not delete the word Crink —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crink69 (talkcontribs)

The article seemed to be talking about a person. Note that it could have been deleted under A1,G1,or G4 as well, as that was the 8th time that article was posted and deleted. Kesac 21:01, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello Kesac

Thank you for your remark. I respect your doubts of a conflict of interest. That is true if I had described my father in any way other than stating facts. I did not say he was the best in the world, nor did I say he was clever or a genius. I simply stated facts and dates.

I am a professional Media Expert, journalist, and a producer, and I have produced several documentaries and programs that circulated round the world. I am well known in my region, and I believe that I should always be honest in what I report.

Please check my web page [5] It has a lot of evidence and documents proving what I have stated.

I have edited a peace of information in a different article that I did not write, yet no one disputed my edit. I have researched it very well before implementing it, as I have researched my father's Career.

I did not even write about him as a person so as not to create a conflict. I decided to write about him because he had an important role in the formation of the UAE, and was one of very few men in the world that wrote the constitution of a newborn country during the last century.

He died in 1973 no one wrote about him in this excellent platform of knowledge and information. If I did not write about him, who would?

P.S. If any further proof is required I am ready to submit it. I know this is a good point of discussion, but please advice me what to do to take away the remark of the possible conflict of interest because it sheds doubt on the information provided.

I am a new user of wikipedia though I have been using it for as long as it has started.

I noticed that you applied the tag on Shining Force saying that the plot summary was too long. I recently reduced the size of it. Recalling my past experiances with gnanpatiti, you like to undo other peoples edits without discussing it first on the talk page for that article, then when your changes are undone, you complain that it wasn't discussed first on the article talk page. Also you mentioned that all images should be removed, I am allowed to have a couple or maybe a bit more. If you remove them all from my talk page then it would be unfair as other users have this material on their talk page. I have removed heaps, even some of the userboxes like recent changes patrol and new page patrol and some of the misc australian userboxes as well. I think that this may have something to do with my reverts to Tourism in India which is now at its best, even though its still crap. This is after it was cleaned up by Lara Bran and my good self. Three of four more articles have come out of that one article. So as for gnanpati this is you chance for some payback. MI-5 शान्ति शान्ति এই সভ্যজন অসমৰ

List of Jewish astronauts - To be "speedily deleted"- WHY?????

I created a page of "a list of Jewsish astronauts", and as soon as I pressed "save page", I received a notice saying "this page will be speedily deleted", because "it is too short" and "ït contains no useful information" or words to that effect. This is not so and I appeal to you NOT to delete it. It is useful information, like the lists of Jewish sportsmen etc., albeit smaller. Mind you, it's bigger than the list of Israeli astronauts - a total of one. It will be nice to see this page left in place. This is my first attempt at creating a list. I know it is not technically set up quite correctly (I will try to improve it), but as I said, it is my FIRST attempt. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Colin marks (talkcontribs) 22:50, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

When you created the page, all you had was category links, no text at all. This falls under the speedy deletion criteria, A3. Glass insualtor page deleted

User-friendliness at this site leaves a lot to be desired.

The pics I posted concerning the glass insulators page I submitted were, for the most part, my own pics I took of my own insulators, specifically for releasing them so anyone, anywhere could use them for anything.

I tried to simply state this when I submitted them but found the system in use to submit greatly lacking in simplicity of use. Due to a busy schedule, and lack of time to delve through pages and pages of insturctions, I THOUGHT that signing these pics as being avaliable for use by anyone, for anything, taken by myself, of my own pieces, would make it very clear they were not copyrighted. Obviously, a simple check box making a statement to this effect would be a great help. Instead, for some of the pics I ddi upload, the checkboxes (tags - whatever) limited me to notbeing able to satisfactorily label them as to what they actually were. I was given full permission by my friend to use these pictyures in any way I saw fit for educational purposes - including postibng them to the Wikipedia page I was submitting. There was not a suimple way opf stating this as the tag options are pre-defined without an option to change what they say. The instructions I rememebr reading made it sound as if one of the boxes (options) of the tags needed to be chosen for the pic to be used. I was not sure why there was a box where I typed the pics were my own, of my own pieces, etc. since it seemed a tag had to be used and, truthfully, I did not have the time - nor do I now - to wade through the lengthy pages of information you make people wade through in order to contribute. Even getting to this link to leave this message was a 3 click/link/path instead of simply putting a "Reply" link into the original message that told me the pics were deleted.

Even if the pics in the article were not appropriate - which may have been the case (???) as I was not 100% certain of whether or not my message included with them was all that was needed, certainly the historical data I supplied with the pics was something which, since it was original and therefore not under any copyright, is applicable to the subject of insulators in general. The historical value these man-made devices served has been greatly unnoticed and therefore, what better place to include it than in the Wikipedia? The modern twist the outdated glass devices have taken is certainly worth recording since it is something which is noticed worldwide by thousands of people.

As to being relevant to the insulator category - where else would it go?

I did a search, just to see what other sort of things were in the Wikipedia. I deliberately did a search for things which the general public considers to be vulgar. Surely if an entire page is given to cusswords such as F***, is not the historical role the insulator held worthy of recognition?

BTW - I have no idea what the url was to the page I submitted. I have too busy of a schedule to have tried to wade through all of this. It was nmuch simpler to do a search for "Glass insulator" on the home page. Now there is no mention of it when i do a search for "glass insulator," and the page for "insulator" has totally deleted everything concerning the historical aspects of insulators (and some of this was info which IO contributed a couple of years ago and has been included on this site since then - why is this info, now, all of a sudden, something that is no longer important?"

BTW - here is a user friendly way of replying to me: lbrewer42@embarqmail.com

copy and paste this in an email program

seri9ously, you really need to get someone from outside of the system, who is familiar with teaching/making complex systems easy to understand (this leaves out a Microsoft employee), to make the Wikipedia easier to sumit articles to. Pages and pages of instructions; 3 links when one is possible; already formatted options (vs - here is a list of single options, check those which apply); etc. will help people be mo0re apt to want to cotribute and then we all win. The lifestyles people lead today do not allow for a manual just to offer information. I know this incident has greatly discouraged me in wanting to submit anything (especially since all reference was deleted - even from the past 2 years!).

Thanks, Lee

Take it to the talk page and provide your source that "it's official". They haven't even had the news conference yet, which will take place in 1 hour. Until an official source says he's officially hired, it doesn't go in the article as it's not fact. -- ALLSTARecho 04:35, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

I'm watching the news conference right now. Kesac (talk) 04:36, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

Warnings

Just a notice that registered users are allowed to blank there pages whenever they want except for sockpuppetry notices on there user page Alexfusco5 00:11, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I restored it only due to the uw-vand4 I was going to place there. Kesac (talk) 00:12, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
(specifically, due to the RFA vandalism by the user.) Kesac (talk) 00:14, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

Barbara Connor-Reed

I could add images of her work and it could be compared to the unique style of work developing here in the Pacific Northwest. I have listed other accomplished Northwest artists.--SD Denmark (talk) 02:51, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Congratulations!

Thank you for the great anti-vandalism work you did very early this morning against the New Year's avalanche. Kakofonous (talk) 19:45, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Rollback

o.O You're a very profilic vandal fighter, is there some reason you don't have administrative rollback rights? east.718 at 16:57, January 17, 2008

Just haven't bothered making the request yet. Will do right now. Kesac (talk) 22:43, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Deletion of Article

Your recently made The National Football League in Toronto a candidate for deletion because of crystal balling. I recently added sources that verify that there has been speculation of an NFL franchise in Toronto. Hopefully we can resolve this issue without deleting the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Joesixpac (talkcontribs) 23:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism on Beggar Prince

Hi. An anonymous user who keeps changing IP address has done the same edit four times on Beggar Prince. The edits, which simply removes two paragraphes which could be seen as negative about the game, are as far as I know true (but they have no sources). A third opinion or other action by you would be greatly appreciated. Zebbe (talk) 10:31, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

While the anon really should be leaving an edit summary, I don't think it's vandalism. Those sentences really do need a source. I've tagged the article with {{nofootnotes}} and {{cleanup-link rot}}, and tagged the two statements in question with {{fact}}. Kesac (talk) 18:42, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Eco 3

I put it up for AfD, since Lil Nims won't stop deleting the speedy...even if he removes the header on the AfD, it still goes on :) LegoTech·(t)·(c) 03:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

True, but reporting to AIV works as well when you have someone who just won't stop removing speedies. Kesac (talk) 03:08, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Yup, you got him :) LegoTech·(t)·(c) 12:18, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

ok thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by SonicFan555 (talkcontribs) 23:08, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Imprivata page - speedy delete?

Hello,

I am trying to create a page for our client & think I messed up pretty badly by trying to change the page 'single sign on' a few weeks ago. I was uneducated about the wiki-system with attempted changes & would like to move forward & use wikipedia far more for many of our social marketing activities. Can you please let me know how to undo this restriction? Thank you for your time, Bill Imprivata (talk) 02:36, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Responded on your talk page. Kesac (talk) 02:47, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Weird revision history of Topa The Hill

You warned the creator of that page about the db tag. Did you add that tag? From the article history [6] it looks like he added the db tag himself when creating the page. Can you clear this up for me? --Thinboy00 @773, i.e. 17:33, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

Vandalism on my userpage

AfD nomination of Tradio

If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tradio. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? AfD fix

This was my first time nominating an article for deletion. What step did I miss? Thanks Groupsisxty (talk) 15:06, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Can you block User:FMBlogger?

I'm not sure if you're an admin. But this user's account needs to be blocked. Thanks. --RoomDownUnitStage (talk) 00:34, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Self-redirect on DVJ1000

Oops... I was actually trying to redirect the article to DVJ-1000 instead of the article itself. Thanks for pointing this out. I believe it is now ok. DiscoNova (talk) 00:31, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for fixing the vandal redirect on my talk page, I could not figure out how to do it myself. Annelies.r (talk) 00:19, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Changes to Shepherd

Was actually trying to undo vandalism that was already on the page, as opposed to testing changes. Only discovered the undo after changing it. By which time the changes didn't want to be undone... Koppnenaal (talk) 02:25, 22 November 2008 (UTC) Cool, noted. Koppnenaal (talk) 02:33, 22 November 2008 (UTC)

Danny Granger

Oops, I guess I was going to fast and got my fingers tangled up somehow. The one I was after was the "sexxxxxxxxxxx." Thanks for the heads up. Cmichael (talk) 16:51, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry for the confusion. My brother logged on as me and made a page (Charlie Lavallee now deleted)and someone else (Tim Lavallee also deleted). I didn't realize this and so i am very sorry on his behalf. Animllover11 (talk) 03:27, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
