If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Boyle Public Affairs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Advice, as promised

[edit]

For background, read:

As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia does not set out to be a company listing directory, or expect to have articles about every company, any more than every person, band, etc. The criterion used is called WP:Notability and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people independent of the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about? More detail at WP:Notability (organizations and companies) and WP:42.

Many smaller companies cannot meet that requirement: that is not at all to their discredit, it just means that they are not suitable subjects for an article in an encyclopedia. Think hard about whether you can show notability, because if not you will be wasting your time.

I am assuming that you are connected with the company, so should not try to post an article directly. Make a draft in your "user space" by going to Help:Userspace draft. When you have finished, you can submit that, and either it will be accepted or you will be given feedback.

Do not copy from the company's website or marketing literature: (a) it would be a copyright violation unless you organize a formal copyright release and (b) it is likely to be unacceptably promotional in tone.

Be extremely careful not to sound promotional. You are not writing for the company, you are writing for Wikipedia about the company. You are not writing for potential customers, you are writing for a general audience. Any claims are subject to the WP:Verifiability policy - imagine a hostile critic looking over your shoulder saying "Who says? Can you prove that?" What is want is plain facts, neutrally stated and referenced to reliable sources.

Finally, don't look for other articles and say yours is no worse than them - we know that many existing articles are not up to standard, so What about that other article? is not an argument that is accepted. Each article is considered on its own merits.

Good advice in WP:Your first article and WP:Writing better articles.
