Information icon Hello, I'm Swatjester. I noticed that you recently removed content from Somalia without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please refrain from removing sourced material from the infobox without explanation. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 17:03, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Abshir Muse Said. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Stop icon This is your only warning; if you move a page disruptively again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Please stop moving the draft about Said all over the project. It should remain in draft space until the tone and sourcing issues have been addressed. Star Mississippi 15:29, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. Please make an attempt to become familiar with how Wikipedia editing works before making any further attempts at large-scale edits, as your last several have all been either policy violations, or disruptive editing that degraded the quality of articles. If you persist in this manner, you will be blocked from further editing. SWATJester Shoot Blues, Tell VileRat! 17:28, 17 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Falsifying references and re-creating articles is disruptive. Please stop or you will be blocked. Star Mississippi 03:07, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Abshir Muse Said moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Abshir Muse Said, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced by reliable, independent sources should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 22:10, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Aamir Mahamed (clan) moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Aamir Mahamed (clan). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and Concerns about verifiability. Information is lifted from Osman Mohamoud (clan). I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Star Mississippi 03:08, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have discovered source falsification and repeated copying from one article to another (cc @Wikishovel who led the charge here) with just some names changed. Until this can be addressed, you may no longer edit in mainspace. This is inappropriate and disruptive. Star Mississippi 03:37, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
