Please cite sources

Adding your own analysis should be avoided per WP:No original research (OR). People want to be able to verify information on Wikipedia. So, significant edits need have their content cited using reliable sources. See verifiablity. This means that information must be published, and presumably vetted, by reliable groups and individuals. What you should do is to locate a source that supports the edit you wish to make. Then add a citation to that. Peruse wp:welcome to learn about editing Wikipedia. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. First I'm the one who reverted you at Asheville (a great place). Unsourced and possibly not significant enough. Secondly, thanks for tagging that Spiderwick article, but you should read Wikipedia:Text Copyright Violations 101. It wasn't plagiarism, it was bold copyvio, and I've deleted the article. User:Dr. Blofeld has created Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Contests. The idea is to run a series of contests/editathons focusing on each region of Africa. He has spoken to Wikimedia about it and $1000-1500 is possible for prize money. As someone who has previously expressed interest in African topics, would you be interested in contributing to one or assisting draw up core article/missing article lists? In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
