Response/note[edit]

Hi! I saw your note on my talk page. I just wanted to put you at a bit of ease: you will only be graded on your effort, not on what is live or "sticks". I do have some notes, however:

  • This needs to have in-line citations. It also needs more sourcing in general. Right now it only has one source, which isn't enough to establish how Brown is notable. He is associated with notable organizations, but keep in mind that this notability isn't inherited. I've added a single source, but admittedly he's only mentioned in passing so it would likely just be seen as a trivial source.
  • This is written in a casual style that takes a positive, praising tone towards Brown. This poses an issue with neutrality, as the article shouldn't take a specific stance on the person or topic.
  • You use "you" in the sentence - Wikipedia uses formal third person: he, she, it, or they type wording.
  • I formatted the draft so that it more resembles Wikipedia's article style.
  • You mention that he won awards and also mention a certificate, but don't really specify what these were or who gave them to him, nor when he received them. These are all important details to add, if available.

I hope that this all helps! Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:29, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've done more cleanup, so right now the main thing will just be finding more sourcing. I believe that I've found enough to establish notability for the time being, but more would definitely help. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:12, 7 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
