Wrugbybox template

If you want to add more information to the 2009 Women's Six Nations page that's great, but please don't change the wrugbybox template as this template is used to list over 700 results on over 50 different pages, and the resulting changes can severely disrupt the layout of many of these pages. Instead I suggest that you create a new template so that the changes only affect the 2009 Women's RBS 6 Nations Championship page. Johnlbirch (talk) 23:10, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Full scores on 2010 WRWC

Please could you leave the full scorer and other other data for the pool games on 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup instead of the abbreviated information with a link to another page that you have replaced them with. All other women's rugby results on Wikipedia conform to the same format, as do all other results on this page (including the qualifying games, and play-offs). These games are no less important, and placing the information on a separate page does nothing to improve the information the page provides. Johnlbirch (talk) 14:42, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

John, I think you could be more flexible. The pages created by me add some important information about squads, replacements, sin bins and match officials. Hello Martin! First of all, you should remember to sign your posts on talk pages by using the symbol here below. What do you mean by "details"? Do you want to edit this page and create a box entitled "Czech Republic vs Switzerland" (with scorers, teams, substitutions, coaches,...), but you don't know how to do? You could copy a match report of that page on your sandbox page and change information between square brackets. Please remember always to cite the sources on which the data are based. Hello. I saw that you created this template, so was wondering if you could help. I noticed that many matches on articles like 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup have an unfilled pair of square brackets to the left of the match details. When I looked at the template, this appears to be where "code" is supposed to be entered. This led me to two questions:

1. What is the code? It appears to be filled in on some articles, but not others
2. Given that it is not being filled in regularly, is it necessary?
3. If it is necessary, can it be recoded so the brackets only appear when the field is completed?

OK, thanks. Given that it is missing for a lot of matches, does it actually need to be displayed? Is it an official code (or something invented on Wikipedia), and is it of any importance? If it is to remain, it really needs some explanation every time it is displayed, as to the uninformed reader (who would most likely never come across that specific section of one article), it doesn't make any sense.
