Nekromantix[edit]

Hi. I've opened up a discussion on Talk:Nekromantix so we can hash out the edit conflict we seem to be having. Please comment there before making any more changes. --IllaZilla 18:43, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nekromantix/Horrorpops/Kim Nekroman[edit]

You are using unreliable sources. "Gaarde" is not Kim Nekromans real name, it is a synonym he uses when registering songs as songwriter. There there is no "Kim Gaarde". You should check the album sleeves and you will see no indication of a "Kim Gaarde" Second you seem to accepted some of my edits such as labels since that was completely wrong too. You also credit the wrong songwriters all over the place. Please leave my edits there since they are correct and your are not --User:KimNekroman 18:48, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 05:17, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On another note...[edit]

It seems like we're making headway in the CoI thread towards how we're going to go about improving the Nekromantix article (WebHamsters's abrasiveness notwithstanding...I realize it causes tempers to flare but try to keep a cool head; you wouldn't want to be blocked for WP:CIVIL). Anyway, I have a request for you that's not related to the article's text, and that's pictures. As we discussed a couple of years ago Wikipedia has strict policies on the use of non-free content, and among those is the policy that we're only allowed to use copyrighted photos of living people (active bands included) under pretty restrictive criteria. However, we can use free images (that is, ones that are not copyrighted or which the copyright holder has decided to release under a free license).

Since you are the founder and central figure of Nekromantix, I imagine that you must have photos in your collection to which you hold the copyrights. I was wondering if you'd consider releasing any photos under a free license so that they can be used in the article. Anything would be helpful; historical pictures of the band from the early days, recent photos, live shots, anything. You could upload them as your own work and release them under creative commons or another free license. I'd be happy to help you with it if you're willing. The best method is to upload them to Wikimedia Commons; I have an account there (& have uploaded a number of freely licensed photos from Flickr, including some taken of HorrorPops in concert), and I'd be happy to transer any images there so that they can be used on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. If you can't or don't want to, that's OK, but I really think it would help improve the article if it could be illustrated with some freely-licensed photos from different eras of the band's career. So far the only pic of Nekromantix on any Wikimedia project is this one of you. --IllaZilla (talk) 19:08, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
