File permission problem with File:Purchase College Library Exterior.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Purchase College Library Exterior.jpg, which you've attributed to flickr = (CC BY-NC 2.0). I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 01:33, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Art+Feminism Outreach Dashboard Interview
[edit]Hi KimThreeCat, my name is Maudite (Candela) and I am working together with WikiEducation in improving the Outreach Dashboard that is commonly used for the Art+Feminism Program (https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/). I have seen you are an active contributor and also have been instructor in several programs. Currently I am trying to perform some user interviews to talk about some of the features that we have implemented and understand better your needs. Also, I would like to create a include a new feature to the dashboard that could help the creation of drafs and common writing, specially for those articles that could be difficult to write due to the lack of resources in the mainstream media. I am sure that you have a lot of valuable feedback that could mean a lot to us and the future users of the dashboard.
I would like then to have a videoconference with you if you don't mind, but I am also ok with talking through email if you don't like that mean of communication. Please let me know what works best for you and of course if you would be interested in talking to me.
Thanks a lot in advance and have a great week.
Best, Maudite

Event coordinator
[edit]Hi, the English Wikipedia recently created a new user permission for editors involved in off-wiki outreach work, event coordinator. This new permission allows users to mark accounts for confirmed for up to 10 days, and also allows them to create accounts for events without rate limits without some of the features of the account creator right that aren't used at edit-a-thons and other events. I have added the event coordinator permission to your account for 90 days to assist with any events you may have coming up and removed the account creator permission, as you appear to have been using it mainly for outreach work.
This should have no noticeable impact on your ability to create accounts at upcoming events, and will give you the extra ability to temporarily confirm accounts if you need to. If you need the event coordinator permission again after it expires, you can make a request here. For more information, you can see the information page on the right, or you can ask me if you have any questions. TonyBallioni (talk) 17:27, 22 May 2018 (UTC)
