Southern Katipo

[edit]

G'day, Spike, welcome to Wikipedia. Just so you know, I have published your draft on Southern Katipo now -- it is at the following link: Exercise Southern Katipo. I have found a few photos on Commons (one of which I have included in the article) and added a few sources. Please feel free to keep expanding the article. Thank you for your efforts so far. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 06:52, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for expanding the sources and improving the article! KiwiSpike1 (talk) 21:40, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Useful sources

[edit]

Hi, I saw your post on the Milhist page about RNZN ships. If you are not already aware of them, the New Zealand official war histories are a useful source. For example, Maunganui is mentioned several times, particularly in the volumes dealing with the medical services. I work mainly with NZ Milhist articles myself and often use the official histories. If I may make a suggestion, it would be to select existing articles to improve as a way of getting to grips with Wiki practices and processes, rather than creating them from scratch (which is kinda leaping into the deep end!). Sing out if you have any questions or need some advice/help, just drop me a line on my talk page or ping me if replying to this post. Zawed (talk) 09:25, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the advice! Looking foward to helping out here and there cheers. KiwiSpike1 (talk) 21:38, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
