Thanks for the reply. I understand your reasoning and I think many editors would agree with you however I am notconvinced that the topic of the article is notable, failure to meet the notability guidelines is a reason for deletion per official policy of the English Wikipedia. notability is generally established through significant coverage by reliable, independent sources. If you can provide such sources it is very likely the article will be kept. I'd also point out that whilst the content of the article might be true, the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability not truth. As anyone can edit Wikipedia external reliable sources are required to verify information, original research and other unsourced content is generally unacceptable. I think the point is that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia (see WP:5P) - a tertiary source that reports what other primary and secondary sources have already reported. If the organisation has not recieved coverage by such sources it will be difficult to write an encycloapedia article on the topic. My opinion isn't based on how well I know the vehicles, I'd feel the same way if it was an owners club dedicated to Caterham Sevens or the original Mini (I guessing neither of which are particularly big in North America). Again, if you think the article should be kept the best place to give your opinion is the current AfD discussion. Regards, Guest9999 (talk) 02:19, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Having said that I just noticed this on the Caterham page so maybe I could have chosen better examples. Guest9999 (talk) 02:21, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
