No, it used to say Please ask Patricknoddy if you want to copy from this page., but people got mad at it. So I struck the ask thing, and replaced it with feel free and added Thanks.. - PatricknoddyTALK (reply here)|HISTORY 19:45, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Help[edit]

Where's the image and page at that you need help with? CASCADIAHowl/Trail 21:23, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

On my userpage [Image:2006-01-28 Drop-impact.jpg] [/subpage2|here]--Kkrouni 21:28, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I Reduced size of the image to make it easier to load, if you need it any bigger, adjust the px size. Is this the image you were referring to? CASCADIAHowl/Trail 21:31, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, thank you, but (don't trouble yourself doing it) could you tell me how to make that link to the subpage, if that's possible--Kkrouni 21:32, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Done. Although it may be better as a menubar. CASCADIAHowl/Trail 21:38, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New password?[edit]

I know that I'm editing with my ip, which has again been renewed (I think, hopefuly not so that you can use check user), but could you give me my password? I forgot it, and it was long, 26 digits long, and it should be close to the alphabet, but I typed something wrong, ironicly twice, in the confirm password, and password boxes. 22:27, 4 May 2007 (UTC) WAHOOO MY IP IS STILL THE SAME!!! Checkuser will work for sure!

PS I won't be back till 9:30 Eastern time

Did you provide an e-mail address when you created your account? If so, you can click on the "e-mail new password" button. If you didn't provide an e-mail, you can always create another account. Hope that helps, and sorry if it didn't. Feel free to ask me any more questions! *Cremepuff222* 23:47, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well I put down an email for Kkrouni usurped, but not Kkrouni. Can admin's see or retreive passwords, is that possible? Then could he/she send me Kkrouni's password? 01:37, 5 May 2007 (UTC)
No, administrators cannot retrieve passwords of accounts. If you haven't provided an e-mail with this account, then you can't retrieve your password. Real96 01:43, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind turns out I never pressed save! Thank God.--Kkrouni 01:50, 5 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Welcome[edit]

I added a personal welcome further up, to prevent it from being removed by the archive bot right away. It contains a lot of good links. I completed your editor review, you do need a lot of work to be honest. Hard work usually pays off though. CASCADIAHowl/Trail 00:48, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: About archiving[edit]

The archivers only take items that are 1)Timestamped and 2)Below a heading ==Like this==, by placing my welcome message higher up, it doesn't get picked up by the bot ;-) CASCADIAHowl/Trail 01:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ironic you suggest I make it a template... it is one! It's held at User:Cascadia/Userboxes. As far as Lilkunta, thanks for the offer, but at this point the only one who can assist me is an admin. I've requested an admin at one of the notice boards... no response yet. CASCADIAHowl/Trail 01:07, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remember to subst:[edit]

Don't forget to add subst: to templates that you add to pages to reduce server load. I've added them to a couple of welcome templates on user talk pages (where I was adding speedy deletion notices...  :-/ ) Thanks. --Finngall talk 22:23, 7 May 2007 (UTC) Oh sorry...--Kkrouni 22:24, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

For instance, replace {{User:Utcursch/wel}} with {{subst:User:Utcursch/wel}}. For a more in-depth article on the subject, please see WP:SUBST. Thanks again. --Finngall talk 22:38, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's a nice welcome template, what's it called? Herostratus 22:57, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help?[edit]

Could someone please give me the templates for speedy deletion, and the warning to new users that says something like you're test worked on so and so page, and it's been reverted? I just joined the welcoming committee. Thanks.--Kkrouni 23:28, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kkrouni. Have a look at WP:UTM for template messages for vandalism. Also have a look here for CSD stuff. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions. Tim.bounceback(talk | contribs | ubxen) 23:31, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big text markup[edit]

Could someone tell me how the <Big> </Big> text markups effect pages and their surrounding text? Thank you--Kkrouni 00:49, 18 May 2007 (UTC) {{helpme}}[reply]

<big> and </big> make the text within the delimiters (<big></big>) text bigger without affecting the surrounding text. Hope that helps, ~ Magnus animuM ≈ √∞ 00:53, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it mainly only make the surrounding text look smaller and thus disrupts the surrounding text. ~ Magnus animuM ≈ √∞ 01:01, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Cowboy Rocco[edit]

Apologies for the lateness of the response, I hadn't even noticed the message on my talk page.

Anyway, I have absolutely no desire to get involved with the Cowboy Rocco affair. Additionally, I'm not going to mess with a checkuserblock. They know more about what's going on than I do. Happy editing to you. Teketalk 02:14, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Checkuser request[edit]

I have filed a formal checkuser request against Cowboy Rocco's account, with this account being a suspected sockpuppet. Please do not post allegations or defenses on my talk page or the checkuser request page. Let them do their job, and abide by the results. Teketalk 04:47, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help Me Request[edit]

{{helpme}} As you all can see, my talkpage is super messy, so could someone help me out? It would be appreciated and I have a lot of stuff to do this summer (eg. computer camp, governer's school, vacation, pokemon videogames, etc.).

No. Do it yourself. Or wait until you come back from camp to clean up your page. Help me isn't a personal maid service. Miranda 20:15, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well excuse me for asking the general public for help. No-one said that you must help me. If you don't care about helping me don't respond--Kkrouni 20:20, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Русский[edit]

Just noticed that my pace was also written in another language named Русский and (at least on my computer) it says

В настоящий момент текст на данной странице отсутствует. Вы можете найти упоминание данного названия в других статьях или создать страницу с таким названием.

(Note: I put it in red to distinguish it from the other text)

I don't think it's and article, because there's only a box and a few words immediately under the title, so if any of you can read Русский then please tell me what it says. As far as I can tell it's a stub.--Kkrouni 00:53, 9 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've been auto-blocked for something like two months and waited before I requested this because no-one beleives I'm not Rocco, so even if you do, I feel that that was enough time, so please consider me for unblock.

Sorry if this template is comming up funny. I just coppied the text the "you're auto-blocked..." page gave me--Kkrouni 02:35, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have left a note on the blocking admin's talkpage. If they agree that your request is made in good faith and that you are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in a constructive manner, there is the possibility of unblock. If you are unblocked, we would require you to only use one account, not share it with anyone (including friends), and contribute constructively to Wikipedia.--Xnuala (talk)(Review) 18:24, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You are now unblocked, as Jpgordon agrees to let you have another chance. You need to contribute constructively and not disrupt the encyclopedia. If you need help with anything I would be more than happy to help you out, just leave me a message on my talk page. Please don't let me down, as I am assuming good faith on your part.--Xnuala (talk)(Review) 02:28, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nice Template[edit]

That template is quite nice. I ought to use it for something. By the way, I shall teach you how to RC patrol tomorrow. Marlith T/C 04:39, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RC patrol[edit]

Ah yes, if you forgotten then I will teach you. If you remember than we will teach you about Wikilove and the spreading of it. Marlith T/C 15:56, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, User:MartinBot is extremely fast and will beat you to any reversion you make. Might you know how to warn vandals with the proper warnings. You might wish to check User:Arnon Chaffin/Anti-Vandalism Center Marlith T/C 16:09, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know what happened with the Russian account. You might wish to check the WP:Help Desk if you want information. I don't know anything outside the english Wikipedia so I can't help you there. Sorry. Marlith T/C 19:54, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Time[edit]

I think that the clock runs on its own without anyone having to update it. Marlith T/C 22:09, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, I shall teach you about Wikilove today. Please read WP:LOVE, WP:WC, WP:KC, WP:DoF, and WP:Esperanza to learn about it and we shall discuss later. Marlith T/C 22:09, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiLove[edit]

The first article tells ways to spread WikiLove. Wikilove should be used and spread with the use of Smiles because it helps people stay in the encyclopedia and helps them work efficently. The Welcoming Commitee is an ideal thing because by welcoming new users including anons we are making them more likely to turn away from vandalsim and become a permanant editor. Through the programs at the KC we are encouraging them to make more contributions. And in a deletion debate on the DoF one editor said I liken the use of Wikigames to the construction of the great pyramids, whole temporary towns were built to feed, house and entertain the workers. As you can see, if we were to spread WikiLove, we will help the encyclopedia by making more efficent workers. Esperanza is an example of what happens when WikiLove goes too far. Esperanza seeked to help people OUTSIDE of the encylopedia, so people did Esperanza instead of working for the purpose of the project. I do hope this has been useful for you, if not, please tell me. Thanks. Marlith T/C 22:55, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So the discussion was more helpful than the actual reading? If so, I shall pick only the articles that are best suited for the lesson. Thanks for the help! Marlith T/C 23:01, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Usepage[edit]

Yes, your userpage is much better than it was when I first saw it at the contest. In fact, you might want to check out WP:BUPC to see some great userpages and try to learn from them. In fact, you are welcome to judge. Marlith T/C 01:10, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, do what the others have done. Thanks. Marlith T/C 20:11, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Quick Question[edit]

I am sure it would be politics because Admins and Buracrats handle the politics of Wikipedia. I am not sure. Marlith T/C 17:39, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, Is there anything I can teach you. You seem a bit too expierenced for adoption and know so much that adoption might not be useful. What do you think?Marlith T/C 20:40, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, did the sockpuppets you speak of make any edits, or did they only participate in discussions. If one creates puppets to influence a poll that's a bannable offense. If the puppet did what a normal editor would do, thats okay because it is a puppet used by one who doesn't want to be assosiated with what he edits and thats a legit use for a sockpuppet. Marlith T/C 21:04, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
And it is quite obvious that you aren't Rocco because you were unblocked, this triangle confuses me. Marlith T/C 21:07, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
By triangle I mean who is a puppet and who is not. And I do hope you eliminated those socks. I will be offline for a while so farewell until a few hours later. Marlith T/C 21:13, 5 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah. Why did you not sigh your name and just put Kkrouni? Marlith T/C 03:46, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah,[edit]

I shall try them. By the way, user talk should be used for collaboration instead of other purposes (User:AlexHillan was indefinetly blocked for being too social a few months ago, but he only made userspace edits and you distrubute your edits well, so that shan't be a threat). I shall read them after I finish Atlas Shrugged, which should be in a day or two. Thanks (On a irrevalent note, what do you think of the new lines of Wikipedia:Song/Wikipedian Guy.) Marlith T/C 00:00, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you interpret the lyrics? Marlith T/C 00:05, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I am terrible at rythym, so the words might not sound that good. Marlith T/C 00:11, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:RC Patrol[edit]

Yes, bless yet blast that MartinBot. He is so fast. As for your refreshing situation, perhaps you can click "Recent Changes" again instead of refreshing. Thanks. Marlith T/C 01:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To avoid mistaking edits for vandalsim you can check who made the edit. People with userpages almost always make constructive edits. While those without userpages and anons are usually vandals. An userpage is a sign that an user has decided to volunteeer permanantly for the encyclopedia. Thanks Marlith T/C 01:01, 10 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

You have done well[edit]

Yes, you are doing well on RC patrol and XfD's. I would suggest from here doing some RfA's and signing up for User:SuggestBot. I am trying to raise Parliament House, Canberra to FA or GA status right now as the award for the BUPC. Thanks. Marlith T/C 23:41, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, have you done the WP:CRAZYTEST, it shows how far you have to go to become a good and devoted editor. I have a score of 12619 as of the moment. Marlith T/C 23:43, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Take the automated version at [1]. Marlith T/C 23:45, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes that is vandalisim considering the comments on that users talkpage. Marlith T/C 01:33, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Theories on the dissapearnce of Wikipedians[edit]

I would presume that the Wikipedians have dissapeared because events in thier life have made it hard for them to work on the encyclopedia. Consider the case of the person who welcomed you. She left the project because other users flamed her. WP:Wikistress can be quite a deadly thing. It seems that Essajay left because others have caused him stress. Marlith T/C 21:07, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No,[edit]

Levine is still staying alive as seen here at [2] Marlith T/C 22:23, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Zh-Chm is Mandalin Chinese as you can see in the babel box. I know only english, latin and chinese, so I might not be very useful in translation projects. Marlith T/C 22:33, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
