A kitten for you![edit]
This seems like a great start! I don't know if I would say that Shintoism and Buddhism are complete opposites since a person can be both Shinto and Buddhist. You say that they're both the opposite of religion, but you combine them in the first part of the paragraph? This part is unclear to me but I did like the list of different Japanese aesthetics at the beginning; it looks pretty comprehensive.

WOW very detailed and specific about the religions of Shinto and Buddhism. I like it how it is. I like how you added how many westerners aren't educated in Japan and rather than bashing them you encourage them to learn. Wendy Vega

Good information on shinto-buddhism. The Japanese culture is a unique one and its take on aesthetics highlights its importance. I liked how you discussed the difference in shinto and buddhism. I think similarities would also be a good idea. However their involvement in Japanese art is very important so I like that you talked about them. Good job
