- Hi Kolton! I just wanted to give you a couple of notes on your draft as well:
- The first is to be careful about the content reading like an academic paper, as the draft reads like this at times. Be cautious about this with articles, because while you can draw conclusions and make your own research with an academic paper, you can't do this with an encyclopedia article - especially if the article is a controversial one. The more controversial the topic is, the more important it is to ensure that an article is extremely well sourced and that any claims put in the article are backed up with an extremely strong and reliable source.
- You also need to avoid stating that any country has done something terrorism related outright unless it has been absolutely proven and even then, start it with something like "North Korea has frequently been accused of financing and providing supplies for terrorist groups within its country." From there you can lay out the allegations and then say something like "In 2016 evidence was found" or "In 2016 North Korea provided proof that..." or something along those lines to show the evidence - but make sure the sourcing is extremely strong. The reason for this is that this can be extremely controversial and writing that a place has or hasn't done something terrorism related is typically contested.
