Orphaned non-free media (Image:Power Ballads III.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Power Ballads III.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 01:17, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Davey Lawrence[edit]

A tag has been placed on Davey Lawrence, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 17:22, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Parkway Cinema[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Parkway Cinema, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of the page. Marrowfat peas[edit]

Hi there! At Marrowfat peas, you said that the Japanese growing maro peas encouraged "us" to grow maro peas. By 'us' did you mean the United States of America, England? I'm just unsure what you meant. Also, could you please try to add some reliable sources to that article? Thanks! Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 21:35, 6 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I meant "us" as in the English. I didn't know there was a United States of America, England. I will word it better. I'll also look for some reliable sources. Regards, kow (talk) 19:21, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to Cudworth station comment[edit]

hi, thanks for your comment, unfortunately i haven't been able to dig anything up on cudworth station as not many people seem to be writting about its history. i am also currently looking into why rail ballast is still in place. also i thought you might like to know that the new cudworth bypass is not allowed to disrupt the former rail route and must go over or under. this may be to secure any future plans. however i cannot include this in the artile as i have no online sources. Hi again, The old track has been added to the Trans Pennine Trail or something, there are signs down at White Bridge, which has been knocked down and the old viaduct at Stairfoot has been tarmacked. I dunno why no-one has been writing about it, hopefully something will be written about it soon. If you have plans for an article you could leave the bits out about the future plans until sources can be found. I have a few books somewhere around, which I hope can lead to an article on Cudworth Railway Station, but just don't have the time atm. kow (talk) 13:20, 18 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article People Get Ready (Russell Watson album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

just a tracklisting of an album, no notablity, no content

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sir Michael Parkinson and his post-nomials[edit]

Hi

In your edit of the entry for Sir Michael Parkinson in the Cudworth page, you have given him a KBE. The addition of the KBE is wrong on two counts; firstly because he was created knight bachelor, which gives him the Sir bit, but was never made a knight commander of the most excellent order of the British Empire which is a KBE, so is not entitled to those letters after his name. He was, however, made a Commander of that order, and you have left that post-nomial in place, CBE. If a recipient of an order subsequently receives another of the same division then he or she must return the old insignia and stop using the old post-nomial; so if Michael P had been given both the CBE and KBE then he would only have used the post-nomial letters KBE, this being the more senior. The exceptions are rare, one would be Kelly Holmes who received an MBE in the Military Division of the Order and a DBE in the Civil Division, she is therefore correctly styled Dame Kelly Holmes, DBE, MBE.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Bolton upon Dearne may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
