Chikara

I noticed that on several AfDs you've stated that Chikara is a notable independent wrestling federation. What makes you think it is notable? Looking at the article, I just don't see it. Did it have a television deal? Did it employ several very notable wresters (special appearances don't count)? Are there secondary or third party sources (without them it fails WP:CORP)? Their biggest crowd ever was 275 people. How is that notable? Nikki311 03:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Maybe it is popular with the indy fans (that one show did get a record 275 people to attend!), but that doesn't mean it is notable. Moreover, none of those names you mentioned can be considered "very notable" either. Not every independent promotion and/or wrestler on the planet deserves an encyclopedia article. I just want you to understand that popular with indy fans does not equal notable. Nikki311 03:44, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
