Pati Jinich

[edit]

Great job on the article for Pati Jinich. I am wondering where you obtained her date of birth from as I cannot locate it in any of the references within the article or on a search of Google.--CNMall41 (talk) 17:51, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

(copied from CNMall41 talk page) - Thanks for your comment on my Pati Jinich article! It says her birthday is March 30 here https://live.washingtonpost.com/free-range-03-30.html Krisenoel (talk) 18:45, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the response on my talk page. Since the thread started here, I moved the comment back here. I appreciate the response but it only wishes her happy birthday. It does not say her birthday is on the 30th. Also, you included a year of birth in the article but that is not stated in the reference you supplied. Could there be another source or do you know her personally? It is generally only acceptable to use dates of birth "that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object." You can view more at WP:DOB. Aside from that, great job on the article. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:04, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
