Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Alex2006 (talk) 16:48, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Italians in Croatia

[edit]

Hallo, and thanks for writing. The problem is that you changed the info leaving the old source. If you want to correct it, please insert the new source (in this case the Croatian census) near the corrected information. Another advice: if you write something, and some other user reverts you, go to the article talk page (NOT to the user talk page) and explain your edit. Any other behaviour, like starting an edit war, will bring you to be blocked. Bye, Alex2006 (talk) 17:00, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The source you are using says that there are 17000+ Italians in Croatia, not 78000+. If you have a verifaible new source, please quote it. According to the articel Marco Polo was born in Venice. Regards Denisarona (talk) 17:26, 1 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount and can lead to a block, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. Please stop vandalizing italian data

[edit]

I've alredy warned that you vandalized italian data in the European wages article. Please stop .Thanks.151.40.102.51 (talk) 06:24, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Stop hiding the facts

[edit]

No problem for me to exchange the data, but you should bring the sources in order to do that. Alex2006 (talk) 15:21, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I just found the source in eurostats. As you can see, the median hourly earning in Italy is higher than in Malta. Unless you don't find a better source, please leave the current information in place. Alex2006 (talk) 15:26, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:21, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of European countries by median wage. Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for disruptive editing at List of European countries by median wage. You have ignored Alex2006's information and sources, and have answered him unresponsively; for instance, this threat is absurd; you haven't reported Alex anywhere, and indeed, what exactly would you report? You have also ignored the warning about the bright-line 3RR rule. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | talk 11:35, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note: When you return from the block, please start signing your posts with four tildes ( ~~~~ ), as you have repeatedly been advised. Don't you want people to know who wrote your posts, and when? Also, regardless of what you want, it's very inconvenient for other people that you don't sign. Bishonen | talk 14:11, 28 May 2015 (UTC).[reply]
