Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Esaias Tegnér Jr., you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Exlibris. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi: I'm sorry to say I just redirected your translated article to Old Norse#Old East Norse, which is where Old East Norse redirects to, and covers the topic pretty well. We could use references on the differences between Old East Norse and Old West Norse, and I believe we could usefully have a freestanding article if it was adequately referenced, so if you have linguistic sources to hand, go for it, please. See for example sv:Östnordiska språk, which for some reason merely alludes to runsvenska without linking to it. We already have articles here on Old Norse orthography, Old Norse morphology, Proto-Norse language and even An Introduction to Old Norse (good grief), but we don't cover the dialectology as well as I'd like. I'm going to ping ISNorden here in case they are getting Wikipedia notifications and have an opinion; they know more about the language than I do. Translation "Hufvudstaden"

[edit]

Hello! I want to translate the article Hufvudstaden from Swedish to English with the help from wikipedias translation beta program. but since you've already started the translation I can't do it. Could you delete your translate so I can do it instead? Since you have not finished it. Nimbo.lo (talk) 10:49, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'm surprised that it locks you out when I have an ongoing translation, but sure I've deleted it and hopefully it should work now. Good luck with the Translation! EAR47 (talk) 21:31, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
