The Garstangs[edit]

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography lacks an article on Walter Garstang. The John Garstang article has "his eldest brother, Walter, was from 1907 to 1933 professor of zoology at Leeds". Is that sufficient evidence, do you think? Algebraist 23:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Perfect, thanks so much! If there is any information on their mother, or other siblings, that would be great. I don't understand why such a notable scientist like Walter Garstang is almost a nobody, except for all of his writing, he might as well not even exist!Ktrosvik 23:28, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
