Welcome![edit]

Hello, Ktwilcoxson, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. oops[edit]

had a bit of an edit conflict in the Sims article, accidentally removed a bunch of your text. Give me a few minutes and I'll fix it. DS (talk) 14:23, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I see you've restored much of your own content — but please be careful to not do blanket restoration. You're doing good work with the facts, but in several places where I fixed sentence structure, you put back the original flawed versions. Be patient, and take the time to do it right. Okay? Peer Review[edit]

I like the inclusion of academic sources and the corrections that you made to Sims' personal life, There is a good balance currently between his personal endeavors and his medical career. I have a few suggestions that may make for a stronger article overall. Currently, there are sections for his death and relatives that are fairly short, perhaps you could elaborate further on the circumstances of his death and if his relatives are significant add a bit more to their section. This would enhance the balance that the article currently has between his personal and professional life. Finally a few more links to other applicable wikipedia pages would add to the visibility and informational value of the page. Great work overall! Spbacon (talk) 14:30, 8 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ktwilcoxson! The additions you made were fantastic and substantially enhanced the article itself. Initially, I was confused about the things that had been added, because some of them very much contradicted the old edits. However, I read through more and I thought your edits were great, especially because they were so well cited. The additions to Sim's early life was great and so was the naming of instruments after him. Like the person above me, the only recommendation is maybe an extension of Relatives and Death sections.
