The article IDevice has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Neologism

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Adoption

Greetings KuduIO/Archives/2010/08, I see you're up for adoption, and I'm in the market. If ever you need advice or answers, just ask me -- any question, any time. I'd like to help however I can. Happy editing - Draeco (talk) 22:21, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Just change the template; I did it. - Draeco (talk) 21:03, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
I'd recommend you just start reading articles and read the applicable pages for policy, templates, etc as they arise. It's really the most practical way. If you're looking for general intro and overview, the six bullet-pointed articles in the first section. - Draeco (talk) 22:00, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

Waterfox?

Hi,
FWIW, if you want, you could easily usurp the Waterfox account (WP:USURP). Just pointing it out since I glanced at your user page.
Cheers, Amalthea 23:34, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Very right, requested it, thanks. Etherfox (talk) 23:40, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Sure. You'll want to take over the accounts on other WMF projects as well (see here) so that you have the unified account. Amalthea 23:42, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
How do I do that? --Etherfox (talk) 23:56, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
Best to ask xeno about that, I guess he'll be the one processing your rename request anyways.
I believe what you need to do, once the rename here is through, is first to go to simple and meta and ask them to move the accounts you have there as well. Once that is done, you'll probably need to set your global account up again (in your preferences I think), and after that you can go to pt: and de: and ask for usurpations of those accounts as well. There is no global rename, so it's a couple of steps.
But really, ask Xeno before you do anything. :)
While you wait, and lest you send out more wikiversary cards of questionable usefulness, here's a collection of back-logged things that really need doing. ;)
Cheers, Amalthea 00:04, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Hey, it's nice to see people wish you a happy birthday (but adminship?). Thanks for all the help, I'll take a look at WP:BACKLOG. --Etherfox (talk) 00:08, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure about whether the usurpation completed successfully. I still see "Etherfox" at the top of the page and, when I go to Special:MergeAccount, I get: "The accounts named "Etherfox" on each of the following sites have been automatically attached to the unified account: [...]" --Etherfox (talk) 20:54, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
I'd assume though that you can log out and now log in as "Waterfox", with the same password. But you should really ask Xeno, I have never had an account I controlled renamed so I don't really know what's going on. Amalthea 21:09, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Your message to Res2216firestar

Hello Etherfox. I'm Brambleclawx, one of Res2216firestar's talk page stalkers. In case you didn't notice, he hasn't been active for the last 2 months, so nominating him for adminship is not a good idea. He has indicated to me that he is inactive currently. Happy editing, Brambleclawx 21:34, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for clarifying. --Etherfox (talk) 23:09, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
No problem. Brambleclawx 01:13, 19 June 2010 (UTC)

Rollback

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks.  —  Tivedshambo  (t/c) 20:08, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. -FASTILY (TALK) 18:06, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

PlayingCrards Rosebush.jpg

Hi there. I see that you removed the {{watermark}} template from File:PlayingCrards Rosebush.jpg, and I was hoping you could explain your reasoning. Does the website credit embedded on the right edge of the image not qualify as a watermark? - Eureka Lott 05:00, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

Now that I see the image on my "good screen", I see the watermark. Yes, you're right. I really need to get a new monitor. —Waterfox (talk) 15:12, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
