- The following could be considered vandalism, but may not be:
- Incorrect usage of syntax
- Introduction of content without a neutral point of view
- Editing tests by well-meaning users
- The following could be potential indicators of a vandal edit when viewing recent changes:
- Appropriate tag(s), for example, 'references removed' or 'section blanking'.
- Large removal/addition of content without a reason given
- Other visible edits by the same user that have been reverted
- Vandalism can be reverted manually by using the undo tool, or through the use of automated tools.

- By clicking the 'star' icon at the top right of the page.
- Removal of access to the tools, blocking, etc.

Regarding change to Skógar article
I deleted the passage that said that Matthías Jochumsson was born at Skógar. He was indeed born at Skógar, but not this Skógar, but an another farm with the same name in Þorskafjörður. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.197.229.123 (talk) 21:56, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
