I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say you need a three year course, but there is a learning curve here- and you chose to dive right in to the most difficult task to perform on Wikipedia, article creation. Would you build a house without knowing anything about materials, construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and so on? No, you would take the time to learn about it first, and maybe practice your skills by starting with smaller projects. The same principle holds true here- new editors greatly increase their chances of success by first editing existing articles to learn the ropes- and there is also a tutorial that is helpful. Your draft was highly promotional in nature- a draft should not talk up the subject, it should with a neutral point of view summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage choose to say about the business, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable business. It shouldn't just summarize the activities of the business, but tell what sources see as important/significant/influential about the business, not what the business might see as important about itself. Please see Your First Article. 331dot (talk) 08:30, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
