Many people come to edit Wikipedia with mistaken ideas as to the nature of Wikipedia, and in perfectly good faith do things which are not in line with Wikipedia policies, and unfortunately you seem to have done so. The account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy, and both your editing history and your username indicate that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below.

Before making any unblock request, you should read the guide to appealing blocks. JBW (talk) 14:20, 7 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My chosen username simply describes my fields of interest. Kunst&Architektur translates into art&architecture. I don't follow any commercial interest with this user account, as the very low frequency of edits would suggest in addition. Therefore please unblock my user account. Accept reason:

Username was mistaken for a company name, honest mistake. Sorry. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 10:01, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please wait while I discuss this with the blocking admin. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 00:23, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Kunst&Architektur. So I have talked with the blocking admin. It seems there was a company by the name of Kunst & Architektur in London and that was the source of the confusion. Upon closer inspection that company seems defunct since 2003.

The other area of concern was the draft article you wrote. While the subject of the article did participate in a film festival, it does not seem like they have achieved the level of notoriety that is required for a Wikipedia article. See WP:Notability for more information.

It would not be appropriate to work on that subject here because of that. I am happy to e-mail you what you wrote if you want to use it elsewhere. I can proceed with the unblock on that understanding. HighInBC Need help? Just ask. 09:51, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies for the block. I found that your username was the name of a company, and was not aware that the company no longer exists. Thanks are due to HighInBC for sorting it out. JBW (talk) 10:07, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your attention and for unblocking my account. Concerning the last article draft I was editing some time ago, I think being new to creating articles on Wikipedia I got the wrong angle on the topic. Bernhard Kammel is a film director but not solely. Some years ago he founded an interdisciplinary art institution focusing on film, contemporary (often classical) music, fine arts (especially large scale installations) and arthouse film. Find informationen about the stunningly renovated historical building, REAKTOR in general and its program at https://www.reaktor.art/en/about. Once a year an international open call searches for artistic concepts granting a production budget and a residency in the field of fine arts and REAKTOR International Film Festival presents once a year films by directors from all over the world. Therefore REAKTOR and its founder and director Bernhard Kammel in my opinion is of relevance for an English speaking community. I would like to add this aspects to the article, hoping for your reevaluation of the topic. Please let me know your thoughts about it - HighInBC & JBW. I have restored the page Draft:Bernhard Kammel so that you can do further work on it. I will try to get back to you soon with some comments and advice about it, but you are perfectly free to start work on it as soon as it's convenient for you.JBW (talk) 10:41, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you JBW! In the upcoming days I will add some information as described and would be glad about your feedback on the additional parts. I think once these information is integrated the overall relevance should be clearer. Of course I will also add more sources to the already existing points.Kunst&Architektur (talk) 13:03, 9 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello JBW! Please have a look at the additions to the article. I would be happy about your feedback in order to improve it.
