Ways to improve Minnesota Leather Pride

[edit]

Hi, I'm Rosguill. Kybrarian01, thanks for creating Minnesota Leather Pride!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Currently, the article doesn't meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines. The easiest way to demonstrate a subject's notability is to include references to in-depth coverage of the subject in reliable secondary sources that are unaffiliated with Minnesota Leather Pride.

Additionally, the writing style isn't quite encyclopedic. There's a lot of word choices that are unnecessarily positive, such as "boasting a spot", that could easily be reworded to be more neutral (See WP:TONE and WP:NEUTRAL for more info). Consider also removing the mission statement quote from the very beginning and replacing it with a more neutral summary.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Deletion discussion about Minnesota Leather Pride

[edit]

Hello, Kybrarian01,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Minnesota Leather Pride should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Minnesota Leather Pride .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

The Wikimedia LGBTQ+ User Group is holding online working days in May. As a member of WikiProject LGBT studies, editing on LGBTQ+ issues or if you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, come help us set goals, develop our organisation and structures, consider how to respond to issues faced by Queer editors, and plan for the next 12 months.

We will be meeting online for 3 half-days, 14–16 May at 1400–1730 UTC. While our working language is English, we are looking to accommodate users who would prefer to participate in other languages, including translation facilities.

More information, and registration details, at QW2021.--Wikimedia LGBT+ User Group 02:49, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
