Ashkenazi is always Jewish...Elite compact 19:05, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Which is why "Jewish Ashkenazi" would be redundant....but not "Ashkenazi Jewish"... --Lukobe 23:16, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, it's "Ashkenazic" (in a context like "[t]his user is of Ashkenazic ancestry.") No one says "[t]his user is of Spain ancestry." Sigh... --nlitement [talk] 21:53, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, that's debatable...do a Google count on "Ashkenazic ancestry" vs. "Ashkenazi ancestry"...but I still think "Ashkenazi Jewish" is best in this context. --Lukobe 22:11, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
