Hi LACCDWhistleblower! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from experienced editors like Nick Moyes (talk).

We hope to see you there!

Information icon Hello, LACCDWhistleblower. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ElKevbo (talk) 22:33, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You seriously have a problem. Writing rude messages and then direct messaging us is so out of line.

So is making assumptions regarding our any conflict of interest.

Please disclose your own as you clearly either work or study at this college and have a strong emotional reaction to inclusion of any information from verified news outlets that you don't like.

ANI notice

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. ElKevbo (talk) 00:48, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Please also read WP:RGW, WP:THETRUTH, and WP:NPOV. The Bushranger One ping only 01:04, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Both of you need to seriously stop. Cyber-bullying, personal attacks and harassment is not welcome on wikipedia and will be reported as will Edit Warring and Vandalism. This is first and last warning to both of you. Full stop.

You know, Wikipedia has a way to deal with editors who try to intimidate others by invoking authority they don't have: administrators block them. See WP:THREATEN and WP:NLT. --Calton | Talk 06:31, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your threat has been reported to the Wikipedia Foundation.

Those are called warnings and not threats. It seems your account is being used for only one purpose on Wikipedia and that is to highlight issues you perceive as wrong w.r.t. one institution. Might be better to improve the wiki in other areas as well. Vikram Vincent 07:19, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
That barely qualifies as a "warning", if at all: it's a prediction of reality, which, lo, came to pass. So, you, LACCDWhistleblower, a brand-new editor with 16 whole edits who can't even figure out how to sign your talk-page posts versus me, a 16-year veteran of Wikipedia with 77,000 non-automated edits under my belt: which, objectively, do you think has a stronger grasp of Wikipedia policies and guidelines? --Calton | Talk 04:52, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Group bullying and threats are not in-line with Wiki-policies of conduct and are being reported to the Wiki-Foundation. Your character assassination of this account is also not inline with wiki policies.

All the information is inline with wikipedia's policies regarding neutrality, verifiability etc . . . if you bothered to read the edits made you'd also note that we included the fact that their accreditation is currently in good standing after a period when it wasn't.

Not going back and forth with any of you anymore. Continued threats, group bullying and harassment is being reported directly to the Wikipedia Foundation. The fact that so many of you seem to not want them involved indicates that there is something wrong here.

Reading comprehension is a fundamental skill for editing Wikipedia, as is knowing the actual meaning of the Very Bad Words you like to throw out. If you'd wanted to notify the Wikimedia Foundation, you would have notified the Wikimedia Foundation; instead, you threatened to do so in a crude attempt to get your way (the shortcut WP:KAREN is pointing at the wrong page, in my opinion). Notify away, no one cares, but cheap threats will get you blocked every time. --Calton | Talk 04:52, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The Bushranger One ping only 09:31, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
