File source problem with File:DraganGasevic.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:DraganGasevic.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Request reason:

I really do not understand where the that this represents any organization or a group. I am a researcher in the area of learning analytics and was frustrated that there is insufficient information on Wikipedia about the scientific field of learning analytics, its main researchers, and the main scientific society. Naturally, I started editing/creating pages of the first two presidents of the society (George Siemens and Dragan Gasevic) as well as several associated scientists such as Erik Duval and Ryan S. Baker). Isn't it natural that the members of a community want information about its scientific field, relevant information, and members accurate and complete?! As a new contributor I am still learning now to follow all Wikipedia policies as strictly as possible. For example, I made some mistakes when creating the page of Dragan Gasevic, but after the feedback from editors I gave my best to fix those and will keep improving my contributions. The fact that I my user name LAKresearch is inspired by my scientific field holds no relevance of me representing any group. Therefore, I would kindly appreciate if my account can be unblocked and renamed so that I can continue contributing to Wikpedia and practice the ways to comply to its policies. I've moved your request to the bottom, as typically new posts are placed at the bottom of a talk page. On the surface, it seems that "LAK research" might be an organization of some kind. Thanks, 331dot. LAK stands for learning analytics and knowledge, which is a common reference for the research field. Yes, there is the international conference on learning analytics and knowledge conference whose acronym is (LAK), but LAK is as often used as an acronym for the whole research field. As indicated in my unblock request, I am happy if my user name is changed.

The main concern in question is the similarity to the now deleted Society for Learning Analytics Research, provided that LAKreasearch does not represent a specific organization, generally speaking, a name change isn't required, but I would recommend it. Because the username reads as though it could be an organization name (LAK Research sounds like it could easily be an organization name), I would recommend it to avoid this sort of issue (even if it's not required). Hi @331dot: and @Kelapstick: Yes, I am find with the u/n change. I suggested 'random_analytics_researcher' in the unblock requested, but I can also go with 'fact333' or whatever other random user name instead. I really can't care less what the user name is.
