Relationship?[edit]

@LEXBG: What is your relationship with United States Equestrian Federation? Does the "LEX" in your username have anything to do with it, or with Lexington?   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 17:59, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am the Director of Corporate Communications for US Equestrian. I did not want to have my name in the user field, but LEX refers to being based in Lexington now. LEXBG (talk) 18:00, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I see. Then you have a conflict of interest as far as Wikipedia's guidelines for editors, and you are "paid". You must declare/disclose your relationship per the guidelines. You may still edit, but you are discouraged by Wikipedia's longstanding rules from directly editing articles with which you have a conflict of interest (such as United States Equestrian Federation). You should be making requests on the article's talk page to change the article content. Please read and understand the WP:Conflict of interest guideline document before making further edits in Wikipedia.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 18:12, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I apologize. Thank you for explaining this to me. I will move forward with utilizing the talk page.
I was tasked with deleting several items that are factually inaccurate and have been handled through litigation.
Again, thank you for detailing this to me. LEXBG (talk) 18:28, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will keep the page on my Watchlist so I can attend to any comments. It is good that you are here so we can get the article cleaned up. Feel free to email me as well.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 20:12, 13 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
