Talk page messages

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:2012 Aurora shooting are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you. Aurora shooting

[edit]

Heh. I don't entirely agree with the manner in which your comments about "intelligence community involvement" were removed from Aurora shooting talk, but those who objected have a point regarding how WP ought to be used (e.g., not a soapbox). This does not mean that all relevant, reliably sourced information should not be included in the article: if there is intelligence community involvement these details will surface and can be added to the article. Look, for example, at the Waco siege article, which has been edited over the course of years. Btw you are probably right about wider involvement - the "lone gunman" theory is clearly BS to anyone who has followed the story. Mfhiller (talk) 14:10, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
